He's spamming the MD. Has a name typed by hitting the keyboard with your chin.
What more do you need?

The name comes from an explorer, said to be one of the first to discover Iceland:
Quote: The recorded discoverer of Iceland was the Viking sailor Naddo=ur who on his way from Norway to the already settled Faeroe Islands got lost and drifted to the east coast of Iceland. Naddo=ur named the country Snµland (Snowland). A Swedish Viking Gar=ar also accidentally drifted to Iceland. He sailed around the coast, confirmed that this was an island and named it Gar=arsh=lmi (literally Gar=ar's Island). The first Scandinavian who deliberately sailed here was Hrafna-Fl=ki (Raven-Fl=ki). He gave the island its current name upon spotting some drift ice in the fjords during his winter-long stay. Subsequently the first permanent settler left the shores of Norway with his family, slaves and livestock. This was Ing=lfur Arnarson who made his home in Reykjavik. The rest is history as they say, presented in world-class exhibits in the National Museum of Iceland, the Reykjavik 871 +/- 2 Settlement Exhibition and the Culture House.
Interesting to note, the explorer Hrafna-Fl=ki was nicknamed Raven-Fl=ki and the OP is wanting funds for a Raven . Probably means nothing but still. The OP seems to have a fairly limited grasp on English which may indicate that he is in fact from Iceland.
I still wouldn't give him a loan, but the name is more than a chin on keyboard as was assumed above. |
