Edited by: ReptilesBlade on 12/05/2009 04:16:04 If I make contracts or orders to sell +3 implants in low sec would they sell or are people only concerned with fast cheap +1 implants?
I am a fledgling trader and I am trying to figure out what those living in lowsec need and wish to try and supply them if possible.
Any particular type of ammo, capcharges, T1 or T2 drones, etc?

Incorrect, I already have a list of about 50 items. Trying to decide which ones to focus on first.

I use +4's and a full set of skill hardwirings and live in low sec (-9.x sec status). Haven't been podded in 5+ months. The implant market in low sec is pretty dead as far as I know. I've never bought any implants there and I don't know of anyone who has. Ammo is a good choice though and so are drones. Faction ammo is in chronic short supply out there on the market (medium and large) and a good variety of drones would be good too. T2 mediums/lights and both t1 and t2 for heavies/sentries.

In my 2 year long life in Eve all I have ever used and will ever use are +3 implants and here's why.
Mendokusai (I can't be ****ed) to train cybernetics up, there are more important skills which encourage killing people (my goal in life).
They're cheap and effective, the middle ground.
They don't take too much of my precious LP when I need to spend it, you need to do like what, 4x lvl 4 missions to muster up enough LP for one +3 implant? woot.
...and if all else fails, everyone is selling them everywhere anyway.
I will be honest with you though, I've never heard a pirate ask where he/she could get some implants... Reason being pods are instawarp and there are no bubbles in low sec, but there are smartbombs (rarely). ;)

In all my time in eve I've been podded once in low sec (due to a bug)all the rest i was committing suicide
soo implants i don't imagine would be a big market however as mentioned above Ammo/Drones and the such would be really good sellers! especially in the FW main areas

Experienced players can't be podded outside of 0.0 and those without outlaw status will just travel to hubs to buy. |

Solitude badly needs a better market, especially on implants and faction ammo.

Edited by: ReptilesBlade on 12/05/2009 14:55:06 Excellent! You have given me what I needed. I wanted this to be a way for those living in lowsec to try and tell me what you are short on so I could meet your needs.
I will focus on faction ammo. Any particular kind, size, or faction ammo you guys and girls want or just bring everything I can in both missiles and gun ammo?

Edited by: Neacail on 12/05/2009 15:17:52 Edited by: Neacail on 12/05/2009 15:12:07 Not really low sec, but you can make a profit selling stuff in high sec trade hubs connected directly to low sec. One good example of this is Orvolle, as it leads to low sec and Syndicate (0.0). The market is somewhat dead, but this means the profit margins are pretty good if you're willing to haul stuff there.
I tend to buy a lot of ammo/cap boosters/drones there, as my main lives in placid/syndicate. The price of Barrage M, for instance, is 450 ISK/unit. You can buy that for 286 ISK in Amarr, or about 320 in Jita. Good profit right there.
Apply the same concept to similar systems, such as Stacmon, and you're good to go.
Edit; Villore is also good. Fighting in OMS tends to leave you out of supplies, and I know some pirates live in Heydieles and nearby. Oursulaert is very close, but some people aren't willing to go through the extra jumps.

Faction in lowsec would be usually closerange i guess. EMP, Anitmatter and Multifrequency. Torps maybe too, tho probably not that many, i fly a raven sometimes and usually use bane or mjolnir torps.
T2 ammon would be the longrange kind, they have their uses and will probably be in demand as well. Also medium ecm drones, vespa-600 or so. -

Great to see that someone is willing to supply Solitude. :)
Wishlist: - All attributes implants and wires from low-end to high-end - Faction ammo from hybrid, projectile S-M to Torps

Optional : kill and loot all the cyno alts you see there (don't pod).

I operate out of Lonetrek if it helps. And yes I am willing to journey through lowsec as long as I have limited exposure to 0.0. 20-30 jumps one way is not something I fear.

Just make sure you pick a lowsec region away from market hubs. I never even bother looking at the local market, except maybe for the occasional ammo/drone/cap booster. For 99% of my stuff, I just send my hauler alt over to Jita to get it.
But I'd say most people are running at least a set of +3s (unless they're using a LG pirate set), as they're pretty cheap. The problem is that's one of the things you tend to buy once, and buy in Jita. -----------

Experienced pilots are virtually never podded in lowsec. I can't really see there being much of an implant market in lowsec, since implants are small enough to get out of highsec easily enough no matter how bad your sec. status is. All else fails just have an alt in a shuttle take 'em out.
As far as lowsec trading in general goes, the best items are the most commonly used consumables (including drones) - RF EMP, Barrage, 800s, CN AM, Hammers/Hobbies/Warriors and the like.
You're not going to get rich trying to run a market in lowsec - there's just not enough volume. The markets you see here and there are usually set up mainly for other reasons, such as corp logistics, and run primarily by a single person.

LOL, you do realize that +4 implants will more than make up for the extra point of cybernetics within a week or so right?

Yea, when you get to hull, click on a planet and spam warp to. It's not hard. Well that's in hull in a frigate. You can hull tank a bit longer in a BS.
