Hye Kieron, I've just got my cousin to try out Eve with the 14-day because of the new Power ^ 2 offer, and your mention that this offer is open to both existing and new subscribers. However I can't seem to upgrade my cousin account with the Power ^ 2 account from his current trial account.
Is there any way to do this, or have I read you wrong? He already has his own character so it won't be nice to open a new account for him under mine...... we would like to upgrade his trial account with the Power ^ 2 offer.

You said it yourself really, only existing and new(not trial) subscribers can take advantage of this offer,so he will have to subscribe first.In effect having 2 accounts which he will be billed for.
He could just pay for his first account for 1 month then continue with the second one i believe
In addition to whatever payment option he selects on the first account
the power of 2 option comes to 23 uk pounds (pay by cash via splashplastic) a nice bargain really for 6 months play

cant u trade charcaters between accounts now ?
so you could get the 2nd account and then transfer your cousins trail char to that account ?

wouldnt it be possible for ccp to give out 3 months free for the price of 6 on all people with 2 accounts until sept 15th ?
i.e. we pay the 35.85 and ccp extend the amount of subs left on your 2nd account even though it is not due for renewal for the 6 months ( i pay both mine in 6 month chunks)

I went to the account management screen to accept the offer. Only thing wrong was there was NO SPECIAL OFFER on my screen.
What screen is everyone actually finding this at?

I saw it disappear once too while i was pondering doing it and half did and went back later etc. (hope i dont get charged twice as it disappears after you use it =/) Anyway its supposed to be in the modify account screen below the 3 options as an orange looking block. LOL the eve people should screen shot it and circle it and post it here cause it comes and goes for some reason depending on what you click.

The P2 program is for the purchase of new accounts. It cannot be applied to existing accounts, unfortunately. If you want to hook your cousin up, your only alternative is to create the P2 account and transfer his character over to it with the Character Transfer program.
