Edited by: Earthy on 13/05/2009 17:19:02 Edited by: Earthy on 13/05/2009 17:16:59 With the war raging on with ED/IRC between others. Can we at least get a list of who is on who's side. Also any reports would be greatly appreciated as to what happened with the Tp station
This is the first time this region has experienced a major war after Roadkill/smash/atlas time. What can this mean for the future residents of the Drone Regions

Red Alliance et al. Are attacking the 6TT8-Z Ethereal Dawn station constellation.
Majesta Empire and The Initiative. et al. are attacking the M9-AN3 Ethereal Dawn station constellation.
We are fighting against Ethereal Dawn and Intrepid Crossing. Solar Fleet made a passing visit to shoot as us, but only time will tell if they actually get fully involved with the war.
No doubt some people will come and list a gazillion alliances on each side, but the five I have mentioned are the main ones.

So how are both fronts going, and why are you taking on ED first and not IRC? weaker first?

Considering how it goes: I have been in ops most of the time, and it is pretty much a picnic for us i have the impression. We are basically shooting towers and jumpbridges, and most of the time ED and IRC leave us alone when we do that. When their sov threatened to drop in XB noone turned up to even try to defend the system. When we do engage them, we get lots of killmails. On general it seems the only way they can (and will) threaten us is with titans. I lost one domi to a double dd a few days back, but managed to ***** myself on 22 km's the hour before that happened.
I think most ED (and perhaps IRC) are already in Empire, and whats left might be willing to fight but is heavily outnumbered in EU timezones. So far this campaign has been very laidback for us, and we are having a good time chilling out in XB with tha Init brosefs, and shooting some reds now and then. ___________________________________

Edited by: Valkazm on 13/05/2009 18:17:25 TP is back in RA hands. This whole ordeal will however take some time waiting for soverignity to drop etc it takes time to take a whole region. But its moving onwards the above posters have preatty much described the situation one question mark remains and that if ED will continue to fight when there i belive last station is captured . However there is alot of enjoyment to the this whole and was a welcome relief for me personally having a war this close to home .

ED does roaming/combat gangs better and IRC does capitals better.
ED is willing to help IRC any time IRC has a problem
IRC is willing to let ED die.
Killing ED first ensures fighting smaller numbers the entire time. Also this war will be tough because the two factions are on opposing time zones. This war could be slowed down quite a bit if IRC/ED learned how to time stront and recruited a couple people to do that.
that being said, ED roaming gang fc's are fairly good at what they do; an enjoyable experience one would say.
but what do I know, I'm just a bitter X-DMC X-IRC.

And ya chek Killboards there you can see who got involved.
BTW Ed lke to use LOADS of Stealth Bombers, wery interesting tactic
Ps. @ this moment ED loosing this war, IRC space has not been invades as far as i know No Pain - No Gain |

Before IMM got kicked involved parties were
RA, Initiative, Stella Polaris, VooDoo Tech, Majesta Empire, United Legion, Ultima Rati0.
VS
ED/IRC .. solar??
People seem to forget that 1 month ago was the same war and yes, UNL had cap fleets attacking ED space around the ZZ5 and BN area.
I have no idea what is going on with Solar Fleet as I.M.M was kicked for posting on CAOD and shooting Xdeath (Shadow shot first! ). There are alliances such as Starfleet federation which were brought in to assist in the war. But whoever brought them in was a moron considering all they did was sit in RK- and the surrounding systems losing ratting ships to INIT roams. Very Hilarious and I <3'd Seeing INIT down them.
Factions such as Exalted. Goons and Titts are fair to mention as "involved" and I'm not going to list them up top to prevent your thread from getting derailed 10 pages. ;p
Exalted. has their roams through IRC/ED space and practically own Skankron - WPV. Goons and Titts had their way with IRC's assests via espionage and marketwh[]res.
As far as the TP station goes with what I'm aware; RA took it, ED/IRC took a good opportunity to take it back, and then RA recaptured it again.
