It has come to my attention as i lurk through the forms, many people of eve have no idea how WH's work or what it is like to live in one, so as a person who has lived in a C4 wormhole for 6 months and a C5 WH for 1 year, I am happy to answer any questions that may ponder the capulers of known space to the best of my abilities. 1. In my situation yes i hate it when no one is on because one of the downsides of being in a C5 is sites are not soloable so the only thing i can do is gas mining, or just copy blueprints. But again this depends on any given situation, C1-C2 WH's can be solo'd in a t2 fit battlecruiser, C3 can be solo'd in a cheap fitted tengu in my experience, C4 can be solo'd but again from by experience by using a active tanked T3 ship and doing the sites that don't neut you obviously. But C5-C6's your just looking at gas sites or whatever toy you have in your pos, mine being a laboratory.
2. Coffee, i haven't drank tea in years, never liked it too much. Gaming site for the lastest reviews and news-áhttp://www.gamers-relic.co.uk/

No, we have a similar setup, but all our T3 ships have a Large shield transporter, but in a C5 you would need another logi to support the other logi, incase that gets fired on because the DPS is simply too high to local tank. very vague question, but i will say, C5 sites are just based on one difficulty, LADARS are the easiest sites doing around 500dps if your moving at a good speed but in our experience we use 2 tengus, a nightmare and 2 logistic ships. Other major sites we haven't bothered testing because we are waiting for dreads as capital escalation is where the real money is. It wouldn't make much of a difference either way, experience players will press it and pay attention to it, inexperienced won't even if it has some automatic feature every 5 to 10 seconds or so. Either way, the best way to ambush people in WH's is still and always will be to use a cloaky to sneak up on them. |

Good :) This is what people who have yet to venture into Wspace need, some clarity :)
Online guides can only go so far... I think the best thing to do is just go and sit in a WH for a week solid or more. Experience it first hand.
That is what I am doing right now.
It is easy to scan your way out, just bring plenty of probes in case you leave some behind in a panic, and rethink why you got yourself into that panic into the first place. Oh and begin with stick to C1/C2's as most are empty I think. But you really only have a choice of what is visible in each system when you scan it out.
I would recommend you scan out a WH to W-space in a quiet system, not a mission hub or trade hub as that increases the chances of the other side being camped and yourself getting bombed to smithereens. THat has happened to me sometimes so avoid busy systems for a W-hole.
As with anything new, don't fear it, embrace it and get the most fun from it :) If you fear something, why bother playing the damn game? |

agreed, from someone who tried everything in eve, from FW to 0.0, i can honestly say living in a WH is the best experience ever, it has a good balance of PVP, none of those blobs, the amount of isk you make is insane, like 500mill a day, mostly from gas mining and doing sites. Its just awesome, but after living in WH for so long, you feel lost when you go into known space lol. Gaming site for the lastest reviews and news-áhttp://www.gamers-relic.co.uk/
