Im going pirate ... i was in 0.4 space and was soo soo bored flying around in my mega scouting belts. Came across a Badger, so i thought **** it .... let rip with my arsenal of 425mm's whilst i convo'd him to distract the poor hauler pilot! 
Anyway he ended up podded, i checked scanner and saw a Dom was somewhere close, went to next belt, ta da i found him, targetted him and started firing, couldnt have been more then 30secs before he had a fraction of hull left, i decided to stop firing as at the time i wasnt sure if i wanted to commit to being a pirate. Well the dom pilot warped away eventually, the reaction i recieved in local afterwards was truly awesome and has confirmed it, IM GOING PIRATE !! Ive bought a 2nd account so can sort out a webber/scrambling frig partner !!

I didnt intentionally convo him to distract him, i was convoing him to tell him he was going to destroy his ship. But as my first volley of rails hit him, his ship went kaboom :D

Not being a pirate myself, nor having been a victim of one, what was it that he did that was ban worthy? Not that I plan to employ things that would get me banned, but its nice to know so I dont

opening a chat window once isn't an exploit I don't think, but opening one 20 times is. The devs have stated that before. Here however we have a guy admitting (seemingly) that he was opening it to keep the guy from warping out by raising a window he needs to close first, then posting a hasty retraction when called on it. I doubt the devs will do anything about it though unless he makes it a habit. Especially since you can prevent convo windows from being opened on you.
