After returning from a "break" health issues, having kept my acount running by my brother i returned to the recruitment channel to merge back into 0.0 for pvp and pve, i stated my skillpoints and was instantly flamed saying i was an imposter, i would jsut like to say that since i've been playing have i though this game has ever gone downhill but after that display on recruitment channel, i'm quite distressed, seriously all your veterans out there like myself and all the other 2003r's -2004r's good luck and i seriously hope they arnt as rude to you, i'm not leaving by any means but will not let them beat me, seriously, ccp, try and filter out the kids please, your game is being ruined! bring back oldskool eve! the days of kestrals with cruise missiles!

Sort of true I feel the powers of ****dom creeping in.... i try to resists, but often find myself making smartass comments to others.... think I even shouted "fail" in chat the other day. I think I'm losing the battle and will soon become a haughty eve A hole like the rest of this community.

Welcome back. I had the same problem as you after returning after a long absence, not being accepted in a corp because they thought i bought the char. They were wrong but it didn't even bothered me too much. Some people are as they are and there's nothing you can do to change them.
Found another corp fast and they are a good bunch of fellows.
In 2003 we were the true pioneers, paying to play a game that no one has ever dreamed possible, we dealt with almost every hardship (bugs/server lag, true unforgiven PvP, the pure hardcore EVE), just to get that previledge. EVE had 3000 players in "rush" hours, now you have 45000. What would you expect?!
