I have seen numerous tools that have been released by people who have computer minds that just leave me for dead. I have also noted how hard it is to keep note of all the trades that I have been up to. Some tools to keep track of these, see what is bring the most, what should be scrapped and what was the price fo item X two weeks ago (what I was paying)
I was wondering if people could jot down their favourite tools and how it benfits them. I would be very grateful for any response even flaming as it is a free bump.

EMMA - The gold standard IMHO. It can track assets, your journal, corporate journal, etc.. and generate reports based on that information. Because the data is stored in MSSQL its honestly not that hard for the layperson to actually draw that data out into excel and because of this I setup for my capital business several build sheets which draw out from the EMMA database my material purchases.
I can be frankly honest that I don't use much other than EMMA. I know some people say its hard to get working, but the 100m and time you spend to get it working pays of dividends in the long term.
100m is a freaking steal for this thing. Especially so if you run multiple accounts and our deal with more than one corporate account. |

I'm sorry but I was never able to get EMMA to work on any of my computers. Unless you know for sure EMMA will run don't waste the time with the program.

Try again, I also had a lot of trouble getting it to work, and in fact gave up concidering it to be too much hassle in the past. I tried it again a few weeks ago and the new installer installs it all for you perfectly, or at least it does on Windows XP.
Top notch programe, so I payed for it with me iskies.
