Hi Everyone-
I was wondering if anybody could help me... I really love all of you guys signature banners and I would love to make one myself. I'm completly clueless on how to create one though. I have Photohop 7 and MS paint. Can somebody point me to a good tutorial on the web or something similiar? I would really like to learn how you guys do those cool banners

I used photoshop 7. To be honest its my first proper attempt and having never used photoshop before I just typed " Photoshop Tutorials " into Google and found several very usefull sites that will help you get started there. I would spend more time making one but it takes me away from playing EVE!

I knocked mine up in about 15 minutes with a digital camera (for the pirate picture) and Fireworks.
I know you'll find that hard to believe, but it really did take me that long! :D

Gimp (www.gimp.org) has some very nice built-in effects - and it is free on top of that :P
Grab a screenshot, cut a banner-sized slice out, use some of the nifty effects and you have a basic sig.

However don't follow the exact examples of Aneu + Avon as they both need to resize things a little.

To make a sig that half the people here use, print screen ingame, capture your portrait, superimpose in no particular order, add your name in text and voila.
either that or open mspaint and draw something really badly in a vein attepmt at humor.
