I apologise if this has already been talked about and if this is on the wrong thread.
Ok why can you not uninstall the implants safely why do they get destroyed upon removal ?

its a complicated surgical operation to insert the implants and once fitted they can only be removed by jovians - who refuse to do it 
it does say that when you install the implants you cant remove them tho....
also....people would just start to train a skill then remove implants until they need to train something else - and hence no implants would ever be lost and market would be ruined...

It would be very exploitable.. going to battle.. no problems if implants can be removed, no risk.. lose your life who cares!

no risk would be VERY boring. 
I lost 4 implants last night, but it adds to the risk element of operating where I shouldn't be
