It literally won't make a difference whether or not the organization present in large coalitions is mostly or only partially solidified in the game mechanics. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance |

Its pathetic really, they stamp their feet they whine they scream "CCP! Those meanies in high-sec won't play with me!" So they look for ways to nerf game play in high -sec to try and convince high-sec dwellers to go play with their little babies. |

Sure other things may happen, but pretty sure that's the major one.
Very little PVP ever happens on a highsec WH.
What does happen is you get day trippers sitting on the inside of a highsec WH thinking they can kill something, eventually getting bored and leaving.
The vast majority of WH pvp happens off a highsec WH.
People say it is "better PVP" as the size of the gang you can bring is heavily limited and there's no magical free intel channel called "local" which can ruin most plans before they're formed.
Of course, if you want fleet fights and not small gang fights then you'll not see it as "better."
I know, I know, you just like to troll, but at least try and bring a coherent and meaningful point along with it. - "Do not touch anything unnecessarily. Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally." -Soviet infantry manual, issued in the 1930's |

To be clear.. I don't think WHs had anything to do with the decline of Null. Null was sliding before WHs came out. The fix for null will have little to do with WHs in my humble opinion.

You are just bitter because using Wormholes we can get into deep null past your choke point gate camps. I love it when TEST finds a wormhole that can be taken as a shortcut to get to a distant objective / fight. 9/10 times people get stuck outside the entrance or inside, lol.
This is what makes wormholes more friendly to small ops and solo players, not just the lack of local. Force projection is much harder because of mass limits and changing topography. You can move a small fleet a couple of hops, but trying to move a hundred ships through even a small chain would become much more logistically difficult. |

Those games only happen with non-wormholers for the most part as far as I know. In my experience that was generally the case anyway. Wormholers tend to have more important and/or better things to do.
PvP in wormholes can be very good. Mostly it is small gang skirmishes and sometimes solo stuff. A lot of Wormholers are PvPers either by nature, experience, or requirement; it's pretty well a given that you can expect they'll use tactics from Low to Null as well as some new stuff specific to wormhole fighting.
Specific conditions in wormholes also make things interesting, and you'll find battles can move back and forth and often the outcome is determined by knowledge of the terrain as much as by skill and determination. Even I've had fun doing it with my lack of experience.
Didn't get any kills, but that was mostly because ships blow up to fast when you actually get down and engage. I did survive one encounter I probably wouldn't have in K-Space too. The mechanics don't include aggression on Wormholes, but are timed instead, so I survived because I was tanked like a beast and managed to dodge through with 7 attackers or so. I don't like how wormholes turned out, but they are a good thing for nullsec. Some alliances like it, but most players it can be the first taste of nullsec life. They get bored, move on, but after tasting it, they want it back and join low/null. |

Eh, WHs are pretty different from null. They're harsher in some ways (no local, no stations, etc), more forgiving in others (extremely easy to defend, very safe from roaming ganks, little need for coordination past a point). I wouldn't say living in one gives you a taste of 0.0 life, so much as it gives you a taste of WH life. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance |
