To wit, creating another shard goes against every single overarching design philosophy that's been put into EVE for the past decade. The devs would never, ever do it, certainly not because a few people are uncomfortable with the central core and spirit of the game. |

tl;dr:
SiSi and the Chinese server is a lie. It never happened. Gold farming is not hardcore. Chinese do not exist. I am the boss of the central core and spirit of Eve. |

SISI is a test server. TEST server. It's not part of the EvE universe.
The Chinese server is because the Chinese aren't allowed to play with the rest of us. It doesn't detract from the "real" EvE universe for that precise reason.

I also forgot to add that they're going out of their way to make sure that Dust becomes a part of the TQ shard, and not have them as seperate entities. |
