Guys, IGÇÖm trying to complete part 5 of the lvl 2 Human Cattle mission. I've easily done parts 1-4 in a destroyer.
As you probably know this is an 'encounter' mission and requires me to:
'Fly into the deadspace area until you encounter a fleet of battleships, then disengage and retreat back to your agent.'
I get to the first gate, no NPCs, activate into the second room and I see a large fleet of BS and frigates. I assume this fleet is the one IGÇÖm supposed to GÇÿencounterGÇÖ. IGÇÖve tried just looking and returning to my agent. Killing a frig or two and returning, firing at a BS and returning to my agent, flying through the fleet to the gate (which is locked when I get there) and warping out, IGÇÖve lost a couple of ships trying to GÇÿengage and disengage'.
IGÇÖm at a total loss GÇô what do I have to do to complete part 5?
I do not have the SP for a cruiser and besides, I thought that you could complete level 2 missions in a destroyer; this is a level 2 mission (but IGÇÖm finding part 5 damn hard to do in a destroyer).

Thanks guys, this clearly shows I have another 2 rooms to go but I can't see myself completing this part of the mission in a destroyer. I guess I'll have to abandon it for now. |

Sounds like a bug to me... I vaguely remember this one, you need to fly straight at them until they agro, then a message should pop up to return to your agent. I would submit a petition. |

sounds like yours is bugged as it should be as eve survival says, the BS are at the end (roughly 100+ away) with just a scramming frig close by, the minute you enter the room the mission completes so either warp out or if scrammed kill frig/warp out. |

If I remember well, killing a frigate at the last room's warp in point makes the mission completed, go back to your agent to close it. It could be a bug. Maybe wait for DT and re-do it, since Objective wasn't completed (if its a bug - Could be easier and/or faster than actually ask a GM).
Also, cleaning the room of the fleet (if you feel like doing it) is more L4ish than anything, thus needing L4 mission boat to complete successfully. Lots of tags to be had. |
