When I last played i didn't concentrate learning in specific areas. I saw new things and though I'd go for that. Needless to say I failed miserably so now I want something constructive.

Edited by: Wacktopia on 18/05/2009 17:37:18 Looks like you have some good drone skills, why not try the following to make your drones pack a bit more punch. The following will take a couple of weeks but will make a huge difference to your drones' success rate!...
Drone interfacing: IV (+20% damage for only a few days training) Drone Durability: IV (stop them getting insta-popped) Combat Drone Operation: IV Dones: V (for the bellow...) All 4 race-specific drone specialisations: III - Make easy use of Tech II med drones!!
Also, I would train up your spaceship command skills to at least IV for the ship you are flying. Also make sure you fit your ship to make use of the ship bonuses! The obvious choice looking at your skills is: Battlecruisers IV then jump in a Myrmidon (2 med reppers and HammerHead IIs) or a Brutix (not to be sniffed at with good gun skills). Also look at Gallente Frig V and then Assault Ships IV = Ishkur, which is a lot of fun.
Finally, I would train up any skill you have at level I to level III - this will take a few hours per skill but reap massive rewards. SKills at level I really dont help you in my experience.
Fly safe!
Edit: P.s. As Gallente you really want at least Hull Upgrades V (for Tech II tanking) and Repair Systems IV (to boost your armor). And in general Engineering V (for max PowerGrid) and Electronics V (for max CPU).

Oh yeah sorry, probably should have mentioned what I liked. Love drones so I'm probably going to max those skills out. Been looking at flying a sniperthron as well, the thought of blasting the crap out of things from 120km away sounds pretty good, plus the ship looks so damn awesome
I want to fly effectively Megathron Ishtar Possibly Ishkur
What skills should I get learning to take advantage of my high mem/int? I know I should get support skills, these would be skills for helping fitting and effectiveness of modules right? ------ Quoth The Raven [Nevermore] - Edgar Allen Poe |

You could prob get in a Mega for ratting but I would not waste time trying to fit a sniperthron or for PvP, you need uber skills to really do damage. I have 7mil sp Gallente pilot and I still cannot make real use of a Mega - can fit a Domi better because I dont have good enough support skills for the Mega.
The bottom line is that you will probably run into another player in a BS who can do 5 times more DPS than you but you wont know that until it's too late.
I definitely recommand smaller ships - they are faster and easier to get high DPS / tank out of with lower skills.

I wouldnt train directly for Ishtar - you will spend a long time and a lot of ISK but your support skills wont make it worth flying.
Instead, get in a Vexor (the Tech I equiv) - you can probs do that with your current SP and its a very flexible ship to fly. Check out some of the fittings on battleclinic.com and "downgrade" the fittings to suit your skills or alternativelty train up to meet.
Really try out the Ishkur! Especially on a team op'. You can be a fast tackler and make a real difference to the fight with some close-up action.

As a basic rule of thumb you should always be able to fit mostly / all Tech II gear to the Tech I equivillant of a ship before you get in the Tech II version - the exception parhaps being Tech II guns or heavy drones as they have very long train time. The reason for this is that the modules are cheaper, easier to come by and provide better boosts than the ship. Check out the skills you need for...
- Damage Control II - Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II - Small/Medium Armor Repairer II - Tech II Medium drones - For most ships you want to have Engineering V and Elecronics V - Tech II Cap chargers / boosters
Once you've done that look at the Large armor repper II / cap boosters II etc and then think about the Mega...
