I don't mind that it disconnects, this occasionally happens with online games, but i WILL be annoyed if i lose my mael and get the usual "Our logs show nothing" crap...

Same for me, got two accounts running, 1 ship stuck at a gate , and another stuck in an Astroid belt before getting booted. Sermms like it's back to the bad old patch days!

Can't log in, client hangs with a full progress bar in that "Authenticating" popup thing. Server status shows as okay on some attempts, having a huge queue on others. Bleargh.

rabble rabble! same here! 'Connection Timeout - The server did not respond to the client's secure-handshake request within a reasonable amount of time' is the error I got after 5minutes of 'Authenticating'.

i logged off after experiencing some very strange behaviour. First notice i could no longer autolink systems then noticed when browsing assets it just hung, opened my hanger and everything had disapeared.
reloged and now it says authenticating then i get a pop up saying connection to server closed.

yeah just happened to me also was traveling to rens all of a sudden
my ship stopped mid warp froze up then i had to relog and can't get back in.

im sure they have some kind of backup which is something in the line of the following:
1. Find out which server is causing the problem
2. Undock it from raq, quickly tell room mate to open the door
3. Rush outside and stuff it under the cold iceland ice,
4. let it cool down.
5. go back and serve it some coffee :)

i just undocked in 0.o and um i hope all reds got booted too its done this once for me before and never logged me off my buddy was watching my ship pop and my pc was off and i wasnt connected but it never warped me :/ and i got no refund :/

i want training time reimbursed too, if the server wasnt down, i could set a new skill (which cannot be put into the skill queue because i do not meet the requirements, which is, the skill that has just finished...)

If you can't relax, may I suggest walking away from the game and having a bot post for you?
I think something along the lines of
"The server went down and I just lost my X because I am in a solo L4 mission while writing a corp email that will bring us all closer to the creator of the universe while fueling my POS that builds every T3 ship in the game and mining with my 27 rorquals to make the next 7 titans that were under attack by the enemy fleet"
Server fell down went boom. It happens. Go make a sandwich and check the news headlines.
CCP is better than plenty of other game companies we have all played for when it comes to stability and fixing problems. I'm going to go have that sandwich

What really is funny there's thread underneath saying how we should get our money back for this crop, then he gets flamed by a couple of CCP fanboys saying that stuff (like what is happening now) never happens. They even go so far as to blame the guys hardware - yeah because the guys GFX card is to blame for dropped connections, morons......

I can't. Downloaded patch and now nothing. I got in but all my ships and items are gone so I suspect that is a server glitch. So I rebooted and now I can't get past the authorisation screen.
It would seem to me that this website is a little slow too.

Even before the server took a ****e I was having weird issues. While trying to auto-pilot it would lock up. Everything in space would dissapear and the stars in the backround started randomly jumping aboot(canadian ^^). Chat would still respond and so would my assets tab and a few other things but I could not open my cargo or get my scanner to pop up.
I think this is the new cloak fix. If they can't play its not broken.

yea that was my thread where the guy was praising CCP and saying it was prob my hardware, well, i know its not me, i just installed brand new motherboard, memory and video card, so the ass kissers can kiss mine while they are at it, ive lost over a month of game time, training time, and a lot of ships b/c of **** like this, and you know what, CCP wont do anything in the lines of reimbursement. take the money and run , right? im telling you , if my ship is gone when i log back on, then CCP has lost a very loyal customer.

TBH CCP are a really good company that dont get the recognition they deserve. They are sorting it out and they offer a reall good service to us. I for one dont mind waiting until they get it right, then i can play an awesome game made by a company who DO actually care, unlike the big companies from WOW or whatever where your just another number.
CCP are doing a good job and i for one am supportive.
