I just reactivated my account... after 2 years. I wanted to start fresh tonight, but I have 3 characters on my account... and it's 10 hours to delete them. Is there anyway around this or shall I just wait until tomorrow to play? |

There's no way around it.
You could use the 10 hours and one of the characters to get reacquainted with the game, a lot has changed since you last played,

I understand wanting to start fresh, but if you've trained some skills on one of your characters, I'd fly it around for a bit. Delete the other two and if you still want to start fresh you can use one of those slots.
Keep the most highly skilled of the three as an alt - it's difficult to train up an alt later, and you still have the option to delete if you decide it's uselss.

This is what I decided to do, and holy crap am I confused. The whole skill training system has changed... I couldn't even figure out how to pilot my ship.

I don't even know what I need to do skill wise, but I do still plan on starting anew with one of my two empty slots. I must, because I definitely need to run through the tutorial again, and trying to run through it on this character proved to be futile as I was off in never-never land and trying to navigate my way back to a spot to run the tutorial seemed daunting.

You can re run the tutorial on the char you have now. Just press F12, go to tutorials and your good to go :-)
