So I just happened to look at EveMon just now of my forum alt, and found that I have trained...
Industry V
Mining IV
Refining IV
Science V
Research IV
Spaceship Command IV
Trade IV
Thats an aweful lot of non-combat skills totaling over 900k, how much more would I need to train to turn it into a specialized alt for industry?

Well plug the skills required for that into EVEmon and see how long it will take....
Rough estimates:
Mining Barge (and mining related skills)> a few weeks
Research > a week or so
Manufacture > a couple of weeks

Flying a Mackinaw - a few weeks
Getting the right tools for the job - a few days
Getting just one chunk of blue ice from an asteroid - endless.
There are some jobs that can be done quickly. For everything else there's Ice Mining.

Well, you could train some mining/refining skills and start grinding rocks if that's something you feel like doing.
Personally, I'd pour some points into science skills for invention and crank out T2 modules.

Industry: Production Efficiency V, Mass Production V, Advanced Mass Production IV, some Science Skills at I for T2 Manufacturing (Those need Fitting Skills at V, but they are only Rank 1)
Research: You'll want Metallurgy up and Lab Operation V/Advanced Lab Operation IV, TONS of Science skills for Invention tho
(Problem: You'll have to research at a POS or in lowsec because of crowded lab slots in highsec, join a research alliance)
Just play with EVEmon :-)
