I've copied my Eve folder and created a link with the "/server:87.237.38.50" switch as both Sisi and TQ are currently same build. When I start it I do get the indications for the Sisi server but I still get "Incompatible release".
Anybody any idea's?

Sometimes the autopatcher just doesn't work (for me at least).
Try to find a manual test patch for your build. You can find your build number at the top left on your login screen.
You can find them here.
Be sure not to patch your main EVE client.

Errmm....There isn't no patch needed, both TQ and Sissi are running on the same Version 88974 even IF I make a new folder and the whole jazz I still get the incompatable version. Open to ideas, but I doubt there is any.

Yeah... TQ and Sisi are the same build so no patching should be required, just the server switch in the command line for the link.
I have a suspicion that this issue has something to do with me having to install the 88737 hot patch right after 88517 deployment to be able to play the game (the dreaded black screen incident that scared a lot of people including me). I had to download a different patch to upgrade to 88974 as well as the auto patching system didn't work for me.
I'm downloading the full TQ build at this moment and tomorrow I'll see if that will work.

Just noticed this thread and wanted to say that a friend of mine had this same problem, I advised him to manually download the full SiSi client (88974) and it worked just fine.

manual patching etc, is no longer working, have D/L the full version twice, installs ok, states 6.12.88974 as version, no patch available and none will run.
Server: Test Server (singularity) Status: Incompatible (release)

I'm confused too, patch page says Tranq and Singularity are currently the same build.
Both my Main and Test folder and version 88794 which is the latest supposedely.
Still says incompatible release.

I tried re-installing a fresh client and just a straight copy of TQ folder and still nada for me..'Incompatible Release' like the rest of the people here even though build numbers are all identical (and even the patcher tells me the current version for Sisi is correct)
I do notice theres like 80 peeps on sis right now according to chruker...maybe we're all doin it wrong. |

Edited by: Muskiet on 21/05/2009 15:26:52 Well I downloaded full build last night and after installation I get the same "incompatible release". I guess I'll just have to wait for Sisi to be patched and try again with that.
Hope they're patching it soon
edit: I noticed that TQ and Sisi installers have a different name while I assumed that TQ installer should be useable for Sisi when they're the same build. I'll try downloading the dedicated offline test installer tonight.
