Hi just trying to figure out how to setup a Impel.
Any suggestions. T2 only - no faction stuff. To be used hauling pos fuel in and out of WH's through empire, as well as sleeper loots :)

Set it up with an escort.
Cause it's gonna be "stuff.. and 7 exp2s". The 1 mid is a problem, you could do an inv field or a shield extender and try to buffer out the damage against a single attacker while you try to warp.. 2+ warp scram or bubble means it's dead solo.

Mostly looking for a setup that I can leave AFK through empire. Will always be escorted to the wormhole exit.

Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II

[Cloak or whatever]

But considering how slow the Impel is, leaving it running afk through highsec might get you killed anyways if the cargo is worthwhile *and* it'll take ages to get anywhere.

You cant be AFK and rep so that is why. You want a decent size buffer then.
Imply or Implode?

Well, as you said, you will be afk, so no one's there to activate the repper when needed. Also, a repper takes time to be as effective as a buffer, so you might be dead before that happens. And considering you want to get away as fast as possible from any trouble, you won't be around long enough either way. 
A suicide gank will take some 30 seconds to a minute, then CONCORD will be there to pop the lot. That's how long you will have to survive. You can do the math if a repper will repair more armor than a buffer will add in that time frame.
