The new system is less frustrating to use but that also means that everyone is out there scanning away, the true explorers have somewhat lost their career niche. They should have provided a seperate system for finding wormholes so that they can be found by any newb that spent 4 hrs skilling and left the exploration sites for dedicated scanners.

Might not be bad thing to involve more playerskill into the new system, but the new system is a thousand times better then the old one as it is alrdy.
I dont know how many hours i spent watching the 103 second timer run down,
certainly wasnt fun.

I really like the new system. The old system was so unbelievably frustrating. I once lost a site to a 2 week old character in a Thorax after two hours in my rigged Helios with Implants in my skull. He was there 10 minutes.
He later told me pretty much "haa haa, I just got 100m isk off that site".
That said, the new system allows pretty much anyone with any spacial common sense to grab sites in seconds. Mag sites still suck and every other hit is a wormhole, most of which seem to have lovely gatecamps on the other side waiting to rip my ship apart.
Frankly I think the pinning ability needs to stretch significantly to stop all the 4 hour trainers from getting sites that used to take a career explorer to grab.

Because now all the downtime warriors are hunting out any plexes worth anything more than a sneez at before anyone else gets a chance.
