It would be exactly what it sounds like, just like Neural remappping which allows us to shuffle around our attribute points once a year, skill remapping would allow us to shuffle around our experience points once a year. This feature would allow us to take away the skill points invested in any skill and transfer it to any other skill we see fit. Obviously you would first have to take away skill points from more advanced skills before taking away points from more basic skills; for example first "Amarr Battleship", then "Amarr Cruiser", and finally "Amarr Frigate".
I for one have trained in things I no longer find relevant due to my playing style. Eve Online takes a while to truly figure out, this feature would allow us to rectify the mistakes we have made when we were still rookies.
What do you people think? Would this be too huge of a change? Too unbalancing? Or something else? Or would it be a great way save a lot of people a lot of time in training?

This idea has been suggested a number of times. The majority answer is no, it would easly allow super specialized characters to be built and optimized training by maxing two attributes, training skills then move the points to other skills. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

No, this would allow players to train massive ammounts of lvl1 skills and then respect to spend those easly obtained skill points on lvl 5 skills.

Actually.. as long as they are the same primary/secondary attribute for skilling, it would be the same time since one SP in a rank 1 skill takes the same amount of time as 1 SP in a rank 18....
That being said, OP is ridiculous. - In essence, any combat related activity involving damage has been 'speed nerfed' to just take 6 times longer with a predetermined outcome coined balance by CCP. |
