Look at tech 2 releases and the story is always the same: Why do tech 2 frigates modules get released LONG before battleship modules?

I dont know Josh, probably cause they are most easily trained for and thus the most people can participate in the tech2 circus.
Another thing might be that screwing up frig balance will have much less fallout then screwing up BS balance. This gives em more time to think.

anyone remember paying 14m for a single 425mm railgun or tachyon because of delays? that was just for t1 release.

actually i wouldnt bother about tech 2 guns at all as long as the tech 1 guns and missilse are not balanced ...
... read here of some missile changes
its 1337 isnt it?

many tech 2 modules were out even before the latest t2 rush
but fitting a t2 module on a t1 ship is a waste, their expense and atributes will far better compliment a t2 ship
and as far as i know, frigs and cruisers were humming along well before battleships were released, so it seems logicial that frigates will get the t2 luvin wel b4 any bs do

The idea behind Tech 2 is simple:
useless crap first, useful stuff later.
frigates just happen to be considered by CCP as less useful or less powerful than cruisers and battleships. Which is true
