I got a small energy neutralizer t2 bpo, and because im a pvper i thought selling it for a lot insurances would be more useful - so i talked to Sofitia Mourtos who was willing to pay a good price for it. i got the bpo out of 0.0 - was pleased that catch wasnt camped and escrowed it in agil - without settin a price - that gives an much harder adrenalin boost then 100days pvp... i tried to talk to an gm/dev wrote petitions, and when sofi logged i convoed her, explained it to her AND she gave me the money. im so pleased to (maybe an god) that such ppl even exist, also in the anonymous i-net... so when u have the chance to make a deal with sofitia mourtos, do it - u can obvisiously trust her

So, why did you move it to 0.0 in the first place?

You could just have right clicked on the escrow and cancelled it and then re-entered it.

not really... it was restricted to me and as you know you cant cancle a restricted escrow....
What happend was: 1: I made a deal with Rexthor to buy his bpo for several hundred misk. 2: He placed an escrow for me but forgot to set the amount in (thereby baiscly giveing me the bpo free). 3: He contacted me before I picked up the escrow and I gave him the isks directly, instead of just takeing the bpo and warking away...
Thank you for your kind words Rexthor. I try to run a respectable businiss in eve - unlike others ---------------------------------------- Buying Co-processor II bpo |

Didn't know you couldn't cancel a restricted one. Oh well you learn something new everyday.

Basically, any of known buyers/sellers (including me, ) will not rip anybody like this off.
This just shows that people participating and being vocal are very dependable.
Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.

I agree ... a deal is a deal and not following that is scamming, even if one is making a honest mistake.

Edited by: Feta Solamnia on 10/09/2004 06:24:24 word to sofitia. I've also seen ppl correcting me when I'm ripping myself off for a few mil at their bil.
It's not just a "gentlemans" move, it's a move you have to make if you want to survive in the market for more than a month. If you get bad reputation, thats the end of it, and you can hit zeepo status in no time.
If you can remember, there was an auction in this forum for a certain interceptor bpo whos owner was caught red-handed bidding at his own auction. After that all the offeres there were cancelled and I bet (that's a pretty informed guess) he was forced to copy or sell dirt cheap his bpo somewhere else.
btw, sofitia, wanna snuggle on my piles of comps?

Bah, he could always sell the bpo with an alt or with the help of a friend. If he is one-time seller, ripping people off would not harm his reputation because he had none in the first place.
