Defender missiles don't work very well in launchers, but NPCs seem to use them correctly.
Perhaps defender missile drones would be a way to make these a little more effective for players?

I'd rather see kamikaze drones. Make them small so you can 100 in your drone bay. Launch 5, hit target. Launch five more, hit target.
Defense: reactive armor that's loaded with charges like a cap booster.

when they initially released repper drones you could heal yourself. Its an unfair advantage to those races (Gallante) who are better suited to using drones.

I like the idea of defender missile drone types though.

Because missiles need more of a nerf?
What form of drone would you emply to act against guns in the same way?

Drones in hold: It would be useful to have the same view for your drones docked as it is for them when they are in space, I dont know how many times I have re-launched drones which have zero armor and hull, with perfectly healthy ones further down the list.
