It may seem counter-intuitive, but in Eve you generally pay more to buy a big block. It's hard getting that quantity of mins in one place. And 6 is pretty much the market rate. What he's saying is that he has 30M isk and wants to know who will take the least amount of that in exchange for 6M pyerite. So the premise is that it's hard to sell 6M units of pyerite at once ... It's a good idea if you as a buyer are trying to get a good price on Pyerite or if you as a seller have a big block that you want to move fast.
