For those of you who don't know me, my name is Hawkcrest. I have been doing business in the Market forums for going on 3 years. In that time, my team has gone through several transitions, 1 rebuild, and 3 Change of names for Business purposes due to expansion. I have come to the eve markets for 4 Corp Bonds, 1 as an introduction to our team the second to finance a jump freighter. Then the corp backed 2 members of our team in financing thier capital ships 1 of which was repaid to Shar Tegral early but with a substantial return as Im sure he will happily confirm. The other has spread his payments out to Sugar Juggs but plans to repay his loan early because he has had some real life issues hit him recently, so the corp is helping him repay this bond by the end of this month.
The reason for this re introduction is that Black Aces the pvp corporation is now entering into a merger with what we consider to be an elite industry corporation forming what we are calling the Darkest Depths. We have setup the corporation as a Mercenary corporation offering our services in our corp description including capital based operations to all entities (we reserve the right to reject contracts not in our intrests), couple this with the expansion of our already considerable industrial strength, we have developed what we belive to be one of the future powerhouse corps of eve.
I will of course be planning some future projects, and wanted to keep our corporation name fresh in eve markets. I look forward to doing business with you all soon.

I dont tend to do things like that, to much legwork, I will wait for those that know me to speak up with thier respective reccomendations. A mans reputation is best spouted by his peers.

Oh, I thought you might have the links handy somewhere  And of course recommendations are best voiced by someone else. However people (like me) still might be interested in viewing your previous offerings to see what you've done (and how).

I think you are doing a fine job Hawkcrest.
Now, having said that, I want to make a few comments as to my reservations. I am sure Shar will find a way to get to the forums to attack me but these are my personal opinions and beliefs. Don't take them as attacks, just observations.
I have a few concerns. My biggest one is that you almost never participate in MD except to ask for money or deal with your bonds. Your participation is incredibly low.
To give an idea:
* Posting on MD for 2 years and 19 days
* Total MD posts - 60
* Total MD own bond/offering related posts - 57
* Total Other MD - 3
* You have managed to get onto the good side of some of the biggest MD critics (banned or otherwise)
This hasn't just been achieved through great communication, timely dividend returns and consistency. I think another big asset is that you haven't just been pushing higher and higher. People get concerned when they see people asking for more, and more, and more isk every time they give back the last amount. You simply seem to offer a bond when required for the amount required.
This is an asset. However, if I were a scammer this would be a very cunning tactic. This isn't calling you a scammer, far from it. But I think if you were, you would be waiting for the time to release a grand plan. The yield would be large as a result of endorsement/encouragement by some of the oldest old school players (Shar, Treelox).
Your limited forum posting indicates a lack of interest in the secondary market except where it suits your needs. You feel you have MD in your pocket, you can ask for anything and have it recieved. Your background is schmick (albeit barely visible).
You are either a smart scammer willing to sit back and wait as long as it takes for the ultimate yield, or you are an honest businessman who's offerings and investor servicing skills should be studied and emulated.
Anyway, this thread to me suggests a possible planned attack formation, start by getting your name into the heads of the newer guys, ingrained by the high praise of old guys so stage 2 can be released over the next few months.
I hope my observations are incorrect, we need more good investments like yours around. But I just have that bad taste I had when I called out both Ionia and Fastlearner against the screams of murder from the MD population. (I literally did get a death threat evemail from an MD poster for calling Fastlearner out)

I find all of your points to be on target. I just thought that I might point out a little something here: - If you call everyone a potential scammer you will never be wrong. - If you call everyone a scammer in planning, you will be right more often than you are wrong. The truth is that you don't need to substantiate your "scammer" claims, on anyone, for more often than not you are going to be right. In equal measure, the same things you are now saying about someone else has been said about you. I.e. That you are a Ponzii scam just waiting to pop. You've valiantly defended yourself, and your friends (myself included), over these "unfounded but likely" claims. The only reason I point this out is because you should know, intimately, the futility of trying to prove a negative. Skepticism and research is the true and proper defense against Scamming, not Paranoia. Your objections here are "subjective". You have little basis for any negativity other than "potentiality". For unknowns with little track record and/or references, that is a suitable foundation for nay saying. I do not believe this to be so in this case with this person, these people, and their projects. I've never stopped having a means to express myself mate. TBH I could not care less about the fact that it is you posting, specifically. Just that these guys have done a very fine job. Whenever I've had a question, concern, or issue I get prompt responses (via evemail). I do think you are becoming the tail wagging the dog though. Black Aces do not have to give a rat's ass about the secondary market nor these forums. IMNSHO I want them to ignore both in favor of focusing on accomplishing ROI on my investment. That is the obligation they take upon themselves when they ask for investors. In no fashion does success or trust comes from them trying to be a forum ho or a self appointed guardian of the secondary market.

OMG I didnt look in eve markets till today to look back on my investments after talking with Tree, Sugar and seeking Shar Tegral about a potential bond issue Im considering when I saw Ricdics post. All I can say is holy crap brother, Pot calling the Kettle black right lol???
Ricdic I truely am simply an honest man seeking to enjoy this game the best I can. Yes I dont go into the forums and spout off constantly because I find that it alienates people more then makes friends. I am very surprised you would call me potentially dishonest given your recent actions, not everyone goes for the grand plan like you obviously did.
All I can say is, I wonder how long after you wrote this did you take all that isk from Eve Bank? Oh and that is exactly why I never invested in eve bank dude, that had to be way to much temptation for you to handle.

After our TS discussion today I am definately interested in putting some isk your way in any future venture you have, but then again I would have done that before if Shar hadn't gobbled the whole pie before I even got to log in to the forums.

lol, Ricdic was and is such a fantastically terrible joke. The fact that he ever wielded the amount of influence he did should serve as a stark reminder of how things are handled, here in the uplifting domain that is MD.
