While looking at the info for a specific station, like in the Asset window, it would be helpful to have the route tab so that we could see what other systems we would go to on the way. Also including the security rating of the system the station is in would be helpful.

Location tab > click the info button on system... Voila
There's your sec rating and route right there.
seriously, will 1 or 2 more clicks hurt you that much?

1 or 2 more clicks per system in the route you mean?
I believe the OP was asking for the Sec Status of the systems in the route to the destination system, not the sec status of the destination system.

While in the Asset window, it only says how many jumps away your items are. I want to know which other stations are in the same route without having to go to the map or other such thing. That's what I mean about a route tab on the station info window.

You bought items in 9 systems therefore. Either that you add each system manually or that somehow the journal and the open orders are crossed and a route is programmed into computer by where you bought the items in the last 72 hrs.

An "optimal route" option would be nice. You could select systems A, B, C, D and E and ask the AP to work out the optimal (shortest) route putting those stations in any order. The usual sec filters should apply. You should also be able to specify whether you want to visit any one station before any one other, for example: Waypoints: A, B, C, D, E (entered in the normal right-click way) Avoidance list: Sec Status 0.5+ (entered in the normal AP way) Details (tab in autopilot list): Visit C before E (drop-down list for those in gold) Visit {} before {} End at Any (drop-down list for those in gold)
