Running lvl 4 missions afk, then buying the faction loot with the trillions you hoard.
Now that ive got the facetious FLOTM comments out of the way....
Exploration is probably the easiest way for new players such as yourself to get hold of your own faction loot.
You'll need a ship with a scanner to find the plexs, the skills arent too intensive and youll only need science 3, astrometrics 1 to use the scanners.
Theres plexs in every area of space, so you should be able to find one in hi-sec, and the smallest ones should be capable of running in your frigate.
Your corpmates should be able to help with how to find them, or try the guides in the Missions and exploration forums
Hope this helps, and good luck with the loot hunt

Static plexes drop C-type stuff. In the low-sec plex (1/10) I run occasionally, it has been known to drop 'Cruor' frigate bpc's. Also corpii C-type mods, and dark blood mods etc in Amarr space. Also in low-sec, combat signatures drop faction loot. For instance I did the Crimson Hand Supply Depot (6/10) plex and the Overseer rat dropped Corpum A-Type hardeners x3 (roughly 70 to 100mil each) and also one Dark Blood hardener. Even while ratting in lo-sec you can occasionally find faction rats that will drop faction loot or if you're unlucky just a tag. In one session in a system with a heap of belts I ran into three seperate faction rats.
So it's quite easy if you go looking. For the 1/10 plexes, take something fast and cheap, and you also don't need a great deal of firepower, the rats explode if you breath on them. Also since it's low-sec it's generally underpopulated but you don't want to stick around if people pop into local.

The best loot can usually be found outside of Jita 4-4 at some point. Duh.

I disagree. A lousy t-shirt is a critical component of the wet t-shirt contest. Plus t-shirts are easier to fit than the transfer array. And since you cannot reprocess a t-shirt, the t-shirt is likely to last much longer.

A while ago I joined a corp that was living in Guristas 0.0 space. My first day ratting I scored a kill that dropped a LG Crystal (don't remember which one) and a Rattlesnake BPC. My new corpies were a but unhappy with me.

One reliable way, at least for me, to get faction spawns is mining. About half the faction spawns I had, I got when I was happily mining away in some mission or grav site. Last one, a domi hijacker, dropped a small artillery turret bpc. -------- Ideas for: Mining

Edited by: Kessiaan on 30/05/2009 20:56:48 Exploration - 'unknown' sig type combat sites. If you're lucky and get the whole escalation chain you're practically guaranteed some good loot. Lowsec exploration can be done easily enough in a decent AF and two or three of you can tag-team the harder sites, barring cheesy lameness, like the smartbombing NPC station that cost us half our haul in damage, but such things are rare.
And don't be scared of nullsec - sequences that take you out in 0.0 give the best loot (the last one I did netted a 1.6 bil Pithum A-Type Medium Shield Booster, and only took two of us in Enyos to do the site). Just have some no-name untrained NPC corp alt scout ahead of you.
Also, wormholes. Not the WHs themselves, but once you get good with the scanner you can go from WH system to WH system until you eventually find yourself out in some backwater 0.0 system. 0.0 radar and mag sites are worth a lot and are really, really easy.

Best way to get faction loot is to shoot faction ships until they pop, then go to the wrecks and take the faction loot from the wrecks.
Or : You can tractor the wrecks to you to make it faster.
