I'll be using it to plex in lowsec and I'm looking for a good fit. My fit right now consists of Highs: tracor beam, agro rails, salvagers, and a probe launcher Mid: 2 LSEs 2 invulns a MWD Low: 4 SPR II and 2 CPR II Rigs: Core defence friend Extenders (2) and purger (1) (I'm new to shield tanking so bear with me) Also, up to what level plex would this fit tank. If you post a better fit what level plex will yours tank?

Big bad MWD'ing drones are real badass in high sec... yanno where there aren't these nice people who like to fly in and break your toys just cos its funny. In Low sec there are these charming boys and rather wonderful ladies who yarr and AVAST!!! a lot and enjoy watching your MWD'ing drones zoom around on their scanners. Oh yeah... Shield Myrm.... smashes head into desk Sheild Myrm? Shield.... ok... so you missed the whole 7.5% rep bonus. maybe you were thinking passive tank makes you neut proof... yep...sure does. Makes you a big target for the plex NPC's to pwn. Also means no afterburner. Meaning its a slow big sig'd beast. Although the MWD on your fit is whats PWNing its cap... which is why you have the Cap relays... which are messing with your tanking ... so they're probably doing more harm than good. Also a lot of the good plex's are gated so the MWD won't work. Next thing to consider is this... Wheres your cloak? Ummmmm yeah... for plexing you have to treat it as PVE but a PVE mission where you're gunna get INSTAPWNED at any second. Lets just asssume you're just killing rats and you have the whole system to yourself. Some of the plexs can spawn several BSs/HACs meaning lots of DPS and without the speed advantage theres not a lot you can do to drop the incoming... then its just a case of numbers, then its tank or pop. With an AB you get to dictate the range (and not spend a month hauling ass between gates...which i hate) Next thing is on the myrm, play to its strengths, its got a great cap and can run a dual rep tank + AB + full rack of guns nice and stable. In short this is what i'd advise ... step 1. Probe Friggy. Either a T1 with crappy cloak in a safespot to find plex's (or better still a Covert ops frig to do it) Step 2. Keep a AB fitted dual repping gun boat myrm close to hand for running the plex Step 3. When in plex only launch drones when its urgent or local is empty Step 4. Don't do the bigger ones alone in a BC (they take forever as my Navy omen found out) Step 5. Have fun Badger (who really needs to learn to spell hence the edits)

This character is about 95% PVP with a few PVE skills so I can make money. I know how lowsec works. I'll simply treat it as if it we're 0.0 and stay on my toes. Being easier to scan down also isn't a problem. I've got EC 600 loaded up so I've got emergency GTFO power. Even if I am being chased by a gang (which is highly unlikely as I would go immediately to a safespot and bounce around. Now that we have the whole "noob to PVP" thing cleared up. I was asking about the fit. So, in short you're points were: Passive shield, MWD, cap power relays, cloak, and speed. When I made this fit I was looking for something that I could run with low upkeep. I'm not looking to maximize profits or any of that. I just want something that will get the job done with little management. Despite the myrm having a bonus to reps, it still makes for a good shield tank. I can get a solid 460 tank with crappy shield skills. I'd like to only have to watch for spikes in local, new rats and my tank. Its a lazy way to run something, however I'm paying for it time wise. The MWD was more for the ability to burn back to the gate. Though an AB, in hindsight would be more useful. I may die in a gatecamp, but w/e. Now that the MWD is out of the way I can drop the CPRs for SPRs. Tank issue solved. Cloak. Considered it, not interested in the targeting system death. I should have mentioned that this ship is disposable and has ECM drones. = \
