(I'm not supposed to post on forums, but what the hey it's vegeta from m0o's story )
Very well written and interesting to read.
I think it was very not cool to steal the rifter bpo from your first corp and to steal all the stuff from Tank's old corp. Mainly it's because imo being trustworthy is vital to being in a pvp corp that focuses on teamwork among other things. If a guy that just stole everything from his old corp were to try and join COL, I'd never approve of him joining and I'd never trust him to watch my back, even in a measly frigate.
But as we say in iceland; "you about that" (mods remove all icelandic so you can just directly translate those words to icelandic )
Also I'd like to say that I love the way you "good" pirates do pvp, you get in there and kill the living s&%/ out of anyone who stands in your way. I have always tried my best to operate that way in my months of fighting with The Collective against the Curse Alliance . The way I see it, if people like you guys are at war with a corp you will do almost anything to hurt them, including attacking mining ops, killing haulers, using frigs to pop ark cans and of course taking every single oppourtunity (however you spell it) to destroy their ships. That stuff I have massive respect for, but piracy has turned the wrong way recently; In all my time of traveling in empire, going around pulling stunts and such I have never seen a pirate sentry tank...They always sit like 200km away in scorps and can't kill anything but haulers
But anyways I hope you guys have fun holding Tenal region...You guys deserve a region of your own after all the fighting you've done and all the stunts you've pulled --------------------------------------
We are The Collective. Resistance is futile. |

Good read, although I'm sure it is at least somewhat onesided, as every record of events is. The character and personality you have created is ruthless, but lacks integrity and honor. You could have had all three, and then he would have been respectable, even as a pirate.

You bastard, how am I supposed to get any work done when you write this interesting stuff.
Hey a while back an m0o member said that CFS put up a better fight than Fountain in those early alliance wars you mentioned, can you verify that?
so have you become a super saiyen or not?

That sounded like an exciting EVE lifstyle. I can understand why you did what you did.

great bio vegie. I remember your first battleship kill as it was my first as well. I have had a blast fighting along side you. I can't count the number of times we have fought in outnumbered battles only to come out on top with little to no armor left.
I have flown with some of the best PVPers in the game (TWD,Zap,stav,Omniwar, etc.) and veg is hands down the best all round player in eve.

Wow, thank you all for your replies, they mean alot to me. I really didn't expect anything like this.
Maybe I will take up writing pieces of Eve-history as a hobby, who knows :)

Originally by: Ravenal eventually, people that play roles that are against their own character give up on it... or alternatively change their charcter to suit that role. Which would be great if the role was "good"...
take it up with any psychology expert...
You know, psychoanalisys don't really work for games. They are based on statistics and statistics are horribly inacurate. Not to mention that you analisys relies on a person actually shaping his char acording to his own personality...
While that may seem logic its certainly not a fact or a behavior patern. I'm sure there are people who shape their EVE chars as an image of themselves, idolized or not. But i think the gross of the players shape their character acording to romantisized and very specific characxteristics...
Master matchstickman or efficient assasin, salty scurvy seadog pirate, noble benevolent guardian, roughneck bountyhunter....
The list goes on and on. The truth is that all these things are FUN, thats because they are romantisized and they play out quite well in EVE. If your a corpthief or scammer then most of the time you don't have to live with the less romantic after effects you get to deal with IRL which makes it so you never really have to feel bad about it...plus its just a game and that makes it all right. There is no familie that will get torn appart because of your actions ect, no real harm done.
The same goes for every other possible char there is/will be. Its something you want to do/try but never could due to moral or other reasons. Its not real but its very close and its riskfree.
To be frank...its the people that make a big deal out of everything that are the people with issues. Got scammed? Got tolled? Got extorted? Got ganked? SO WHAT?! Its a game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, thats how it goes and if you don't play you'll never know what its like to win!
Originally by: cashman It's time for Eris to get a clue. CCP should make a statement about this.
It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.
