I'm afraid that I must disagree with this request, and once I've explained why, I'm sure that you will all immediately realise why this is such a bad idea.

How many hours a week on average do you play Eve? Probably quite a few. I know that I do when I have the time.

And now, how much time do you spend playing Eve standing up, walking around, being active? No time. You sit in a chair at a desk in front of the computer.

CCP have cleverly realised that all this inactivity is inherently unhealthy, and have solved the problem at a masterful stroke, by making us use the mousewheel to zoom out after jumping. Do you know how many calories per hour are burned off with that simple spin of a mousewheel? Thousands. Thousands!

The inescapable fact is that, if it were not for the zoomy mousewheel feature, all the thin Eve players would now be enormously fat, and all the fat Eve players would be immobile.

You should be thanking the devs for this, but all you do is complain. It's a sad day when a vocal minority of players want to nerf one of Eve's most valuable elements.




The RSI sucks though.
