After running too many missions in a 5-launcher Caracal, I decided I wanted to try something new, i.e a Moa. But I have no idea to set it up :) In short, what modules should go where and what skills would I need?

I use five 250 rails with tungsten, two launchers (one heavy, one standard), a MWD for staying FAR away from the bad guys, shield extender and booster, and enough of those thingies in the low slots so I can actually USE all that stuff (y'know? The stuff that boost cpu...or was it power grid? I forget). --------- Kitten Hearder Evolution made my sig Less Entertaining than your's. |

I use five 250 rails with tungsten, two launchers (one heavy, one standard), a MWD for staying FAR away from the bad guys, shield extender and booster, and enough of those thingies in the low slots so I can actually USE all that stuff (y'know? The stuff that boost cpu...or was it power grid? I forget). --------- Kitten Hearder Evolution made my sig Less Entertaining than your's. |

I personnaly use:
High
3x 250mm 1x 200mm 2x Malkuth
Med
1x Medium Cl-5 booster 1x Shield Amplifier 2x Hardeners
Low:
2x PDU I 1x damage Mod 1x Cap relay
Works great for NPC hunting till 0.1. Tanking is usually sufficient enough to take on multiple cruisers without moving. Don't try it in PVP though, it's not that excellent, I'm still working on something for that.

I would watch out for Erunamane's setup. If you do try it be careful in 0.1 systems, cus you dont want your Moa to end up like Eru's last 4. Or was it 5? Anw I forget, as Kitten Hearder would say...

Wow I want your Moa, 5 turrets and 7 high slots and you are missing a med slot
*Dust Puppy counts med slots, 1 shield extender + 1 booster + 1 mwd = 3 med slots*
Also I think a shield extender on a moa is a waste of slot especially on npc's. Just fit 2xhardeners depending on the damage the npc's do and Moa already has many shield hp. __________ Capacitor research |

I am assuming you're running lvl3's. Ok here is my Moa.
High

MWD 2X Cap Recharger 1X Optical Tracking Computer
Low
3X Reactor Control Unit 1X Mag Stab II
I prefer not to shield tank as the turret weapon upgrades and MWD keep me at safe distance.
And remember to uberize your gunnery skillz.
Can't help ya with PvP though.

im working on the skills to get another turret in there. but i have done most of the lvl 3 missions so far and not had a rel prob. Mordus can be fun with those fast buggers but in general just stay at 45km+

With that, you hit hard and at long range, and no cruiser can close on you before being reduced to wreckage. I hunted three hours with it in a 0.1 and almost didn't used the shield booster at all.

hehehe, go by what I mean, not what I say. Meh. I'm not in front of my Moa at the moment. There is no bad setup for a Moa if you're just doing NPCs. Med's Medium shield booster II Shield boost amp hardener 10MN MWD or tracking computer II depends on what I'm fighting
Low's RCU I PDU I Damage Mod Tracking mod
This has worked well for me, though I don't do missions. I can take on 1 x 110k and 2 x 90k with frigate support fairly easily. Just get some good gunnery skills and you can have a 63km optimal with tungsten and whoop ass from a very safe distance. You can drop also the boost amp to fit the tracking computer II and the MWD, but I think you have to change the low slots for that to work.
