I'm curious i my prediction about inflations' Escalation is causing a Market Inferno... Most here seem to think speculation bubble is going to burst soon... others think the Drone nerf will take 5-6 months for prices to equalize ( just in time for ring mining )... many see the meta 0 drops being a huge hit which will take time to realize... a very few believe OTEC & Hulageddon are going to have major consequences... personally with the latest Incursion nerf I'd like to see how many peeps still blame Incursions for all Inflation...

What do you mean soon? Did you fail to notice minerals taking a nose dive? |

We can't declare a bubble just yet. We have to see, after hulkageddon, after summer drought, and after inferno how the market will settle.
But here's my take on it; what we have seen with the mineral speculation is that lots and lots of isk of people who normally just let it sit in wallets has entered the markets. In short i think that the circulation of isk has increased significantly the last months.. But if that either will reduce inflation or drive prices up higher i'm not sure about. |

I have not noticed a nose dive in the prices of ships. Are volumes unchanged? CCP Soundwave "Incursions are not a big issue in terms of isk globally" |

1) Ships market velocity. 2) Ship delivery timing vs cost of minerals used to make them. 3) Minerals market speculators quick dump speed vs ships demand in expectation of Inferno. 4) Ships are made by a number of minerals and some are rising whereas others are falling. Actually more illiquid minerals have a sort of anti-cyclic liquidity based leverage against the liquid and currently expensive low ends (which is one of the reasons I am still in the market for the latter).
Notice the numbers don't necessarily indicate priority.
Actually it does not really matter, as all you could use to trade minerals right now is shown in this thread. Auditing | Collateral holding and insurance | Consulting | PLEX for Good Charity

Ships are made by disciplined manufacturers, not mission runners that sell everything to buys (or even worse, refine each module individually and sell me the minerals from each module individually) and yes they are coming down, because the margins have attracted people who chase margins. It will just be fought every 0.01 of the way. All of my sell prices are now off highs. |

What VV said. Also, I don' think that the ship prices were bubbles, (except hulks) they were mostly a reaction to mineral prices.
My guess is that they have not come down so far because of inertia (many are falling, look at Noctis prices). Ships are less liquid than minerals. It will take a while before the 0.01 isk'ing causes prices to settle back down. |

All of my T1 sell orders are definitely down off the highs. Also a lot of downward pressure on T2 prices.

Speculation bubble is popping on minerals, especially the high-ends. For high-ends, I still think price will mostly be determined by supply side, based on what price null-sec miners think is worth their time. Is that 50M/hr w/ Orca/Rorqual boosts? 60-70M/hr?

They are dropping but not as much as high end minerals. We know and have always known that 60% of a hull cost is trit. Trit is still above 6.00 in Jita while it was 3.2 a year ago. Add in the Pyrite and Nocxium rises and you have legitimate reason to see hulls at 1.8 the cost of what they were a year ago. Unless Trit prices drop, Ships will remain expensive. |
