We took out two of them before the rest ran and docked. We stuck around for about 45 mins. after that, but they just sat in local talking smack. While I was taking this time to meditate it occured to me that the only pirates who would camp a 0.4 empire system for a period of weeks like they have are pirated who can't hack 0.0 where real pirates would kick the **** out of them and their pathetic attemps at real pirating. An alt of mine went through there earlier today. He is a science alt flying a minimally fitted executioner. As he was on his way out of the system, a raven was camping the gate. He used his afterburner approach the gate while convoing one of the MASS guys in the system to congratulate him on his good fight and make a donation to the effort. After the convo, he noticed the raven had locked him so he jumped through. This tells me these guys are not very adept. Just to add salt to the wound, if they had any real skill at camping a system, they would have acquired themselves a Covert Ops Cloaking Device II BPO that I was moving out of the system to a more secure location. That's what was in the hold of the executioner. Good job guys. Keep working on that whole pirate thing.

Well, if I had reason to, yes I would, but I see your point. Which to me says that they either need to get some of their real pilots in there and camp, or just don't bother at all.

It was news to me that those guys were there and looking at the amount of pod kills on the map it's clearly news to others. But hey, sorry if I wasted any of your time.
