Ok, so I have never fired a pvp round to date. I have been reading the pros and cons of possible Caldari frigates and I purchased 5 Merlins and 5 Kestrels for experimenting. (plan to lose a lot starting out):)
I have 14 trained Engineering skills all at level 4 and 5. My Gunnery and Missiles skills are mediocre and climbing. Not so hot in hybrid turret yet. I have Caldari Frigate 5.
I just moved to lowsec (new corp member) and want to roam and learn solo pvp.
Can someone give me an idea of the best T1 Frigate loadouts for the Merlin and Kesterel? Think I am going to try the 'distance' method first but with T1 mods that may not be possible then I'll have to try the 'up close and personal' method.
Also, seeing as I will be in a Frigate, who (what ship types) will I want to fight and who should I RLAG (run like a girl)from? *recent quote from a friend*
Last, will my Corp and or Alliance get any NEGATIVE problems from my little pvp learning endeavor? Obviously, I am not going to go to hisec and gank people or start fights. Knowing Eve, all I need to do is fly into a few lowsec areas and I will be attacked at which point I can fight back, maybe get a few shots in before I get killed, and learn. :)
