lot of points wasted for a pvp person, lot of points wasted for an invention person, a fairly decent all rounder but still. 18-20bil roughly

I understand what you mean. I look at it this way:
With my invention and manufacturing skills, you can find a nice blueprint, do inventions, and manufacture something to create some easy passive income. With the modules I produce right now, I make about 400-500M per month with very little effort. Datacores add another 100M to that or so.
I guess what I'm saying is that some of those wasted skill points were being aimed at creating sources of passive income to fund your pew pew. If I had to do it all over again, sure I'd specialize. I see this as a great main toon for someone, a toon that can do just about everything in the eve universe.
If someone is looking for a specialized alt or 2nd / 3rd toon, then yeah, Sprak is probably not for them.
