Anyone else tried this demo? The games not out yet (in the UK anyway) but it is amazing, well, it is if you like warhammer 40k or RTS games. Stomping orks with space marines and causing havok with dreadnoughts. 
anyway, there is a vague point to my post, if you've played it do you know what a captured relic is? apparently you need this item/building to make the Terminator marines and rhino tanks but I can't find where to make it.

You don't build those, you just capture them. They are like the capture points - you move your squad to them click and then they become yours after a short time. Think the relic ones give you a bonus in combat or something. You can see them on the on-screen map - they show up as dots.

There are no relics in the demo, there was in the Beta though, and Terminators were a bit fo a let down for me, the Land Raider Tank owns all though, especially in 3s.

Madgaz, mine did that too, I CTL ALT DELed and killed the installer process and then the installer popped up and worked fine.

Just leave it, it takes a while but it will install eventually. Make a cuppa or something 
As for the demo, I don't even like Warhammer, but it's a damn good game in its own right - I expect I'll buy it

I played both the demo and the beta, and for me DoW is the RTS of the year.
The 4 races are very different are pretty well balanced, rushes aren't so easy that it mean the death of any other strategy, and hte battles feels like real battles, not just endless repetitions of identical animations.
And a relic is like a critical location: it's longer to claim than strategic points, but allow you to build special units.

DoW rocks. EVE is gonna be under serious pressure in the contest for my gaming time, what with Dawn of War, Rome: Total War, Half Life 2 and GTA: San Andreas all being released in the next few months

They're not overpowered.
Use a few missile squads (or bright lances platforms if you play eldar), and they won't even have time to go into close combat.
Just use the right tools for the right task, and learn to anticipate, that's the key of victory.
