So, i've made many billions from illegitmate dealings in eve - and i'm looking to invest part of my fortune 'legitimately'.
I've trained up a freighter alt in anticipation of this - and though i'm sure this has been asked many times before, i'd like to know what would be the best way of investing this ISK with the highest return.
Although I don't expect it to make as much as my other lines of income, which on good days can reach up to 1 billion ISK per day - depending on the number of intelectually challenged people willing to hand over their money - though I average about 200-500m normally.
As i've said, i've got 8 billion i'm willing to put into this... how could I go about making money!! |

Try scamming character sales, perhaps...?

Lol - I thought they made you give that back? ------------------------------ In EVE, when someone undercuts you, they're a lemming.
When you undercut someone else, it's skill/effort/manipulation.

I assume you're posting on an alt.

Stop training your freighter. Now. This assumes you mean legitimately in empire. High sec people will freight anything dozens of gates for hilariously low amounts of ISK.

You can't get more than 8% or so per month on your money here. Be aware of that.

I will give him 9%. But I require all of his money first.

Kalrand, Ed Gein was involved in a "semi-character" scam that went some 9 pages long over on C&P. See also Everybruce and Lady Cyno.
He doesn't need any of his capital to continue accruing funds, just a steady supply of dum-dums.
It would be interesting to see if a bank or fund holder would willingly hold and pay dividends on funds to a known scammer.

I'll go find that. But the way he phrased his post, I knew it was from scamming one way or another.

Three points on this: 1) Considering how much reputation and trust matters in this forum, any bond/ipo/fund manager really needs to think very carefully before they start going down that slope. It's one thing if it was themselves that got taken, its a whole different story to think of yourself as a internet spaceship robin hood. In that case you're really no different than the original guy, by lying to take their isk. I think its ebank's policy to refund isk from known scammers, but I've seen it written around here that people should take it, and return it to the origional victim.
2) Its that line of thinking, that's kept me from investing, and instead just adding commentary, in this forum. Since just about everyone either has been, or knows someone who has been, taken in by a goon in some fraud or another. I'm afraid someone will take my isk for an investment, go all robin hood on me, and tell me to take it up with my corp mate for a refund. (Which wouldn't work that way, btw.)
3) I'd be willing to pay him 5 or 6%, per month for as long as mutually agreeable, depending on his terms, for an endeavor I've spittballed around here. Also, I don't care where his money came from.

I read that thread. Looks like he had to give the isk back, but didn't get banned.
He just came up with something less gray area of the EULA to raise these billions. |

Look at in a station? Why don't you buy a T3 cruiser, fit it with garbage, and make a hilarious killmail.

Yea... I see those all the time though. I want to see a T3 cruiser fitter with Civilian class weapons get blown up.
Or fit to mine, or something ridiculous. |

Yeah, the returns you're going to get investing are nowhere near what you'll get from scamming and whatever legitimate money you make you'll probably lose to a scammer or business failure. Keep your isk in your own wallet and buy whatever toys you feel like. |
