That site with the blue rain newspost... the donald duck in question is like 2-4 years old - is the guy playing eve 10-12 years old?

Also, i'd love to see current statistics on the numbers of currently active (last 6 months sub'd) players with an outlaw (-5 or below) security status that ARENT in NPC corps.

Basically, all ppl from those countries who are in EU have "european" nationality, as soon as the lisbon treaty is signed by some of the last member countries, so very soonish it will be much simplier. No separate nationalities as far as the official law goes. Just european.
so ina few months the list will be:
1. Americans 40%
2. Europeans 35%
3. Russians 20%
4. Other 5%
there you go, gotta love the EU for making things simplier, even in EVE

I think that at CCP we¦d still like to know what country people come from, localisation is a good reason to know what country people come from ( assuming they all speak the language form that country etc)

Pleased to say it ain't so. I know 35-40 women in game, some 20 of which are in my corp.
I was surprised at the stats for player nationality. I wouldn't have guessed the U.S. (where I'm from) had the most; seems like the majority of players I've known have been from the UK.

Hmm maybe the UK pop is more "vocal" than the rest.... I have yet to meet a German, and they're third.

It is I think. At least amongst the 5% of the Russian population that lucked out with the firesale of state owned industries in the early 1990s who can actually afford a computer.

Not France, we are more or less 6000 from a 60m ppl country. It's all because of the spiced wine.
MMO means WoW here. And I don't know why but frenches are angry with scifi games there. We like scifi, but in movies or tv shows, not in games. It seems ppl lacks imagination to project themselves in interactives scifi universes. WiS might help a lot (I hope).

I know how you feel. I don't know anyone near me that plays, in fact I know of no one else from canada in game other then a corp member.
