Naturally this can be pimped out with all the latest in cool faction gear etc :P
Pumps out 350 DPS if switched with Rage rockets, even more with implants (nearly 380 DPS). |

Does this fit : ion blasters and MWD?

Yeah, but it does 100 DPS less and is vulnerable to scramblers. |

Hmm true, but I still think MWD is the single most important mod on a frig....
Have a look at this, it probably outdamages the ion enyo and has an mwd.
Taranis:
3 x Light Neutron Blaster II
Langour Web Disruptor MWD
Small Rep II D. Cont II B66 MAPC
Hybrid Burst Aerator Hybrid Collision Accelerator
2x Warrior II
Tight, needs Hybrid Rigging 3 to fit, or an expensive B88 MAPC
It's *such* an amazing ship, the amount of npcers we've caught off guard and taken on with 2 or 3 of these it's just crazy how fast they go down. I've had mine almost killed twice by warrior II's but overloading MWD and GTFO'ing saved me.

I would rather go with a Nos and Ions, but I guess the extra cap over the extra dps comes down to personal preference and the kind of fights you're looking for.

Something is off here - I put that into EFT, all V, gives me 300 DPS, 342 overloaded.
You can get 320 DPS if you drop the plating for a second magstab, drop the rocket launcher, and change a few T2's to named though.
I run with 4 Ion's and a NOS - also gives 300 DPS.

Here's the Taranis I'm currently flying around:
[Taranis, Ideal Taranis] Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Overdrive Injector System II Damage Control II
1MN MicroWarpdrive I Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I
Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S Salvager I /OFFLINE Light Ion Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S
Hybrid Burst Aerator I Auxiliary Thrusters I
Hobgoblin II x2
I like a balance of speed and DPS though. Nearly lost it the other day to a Harpy who didn't have a scrambler (got out at 60% structure).
Also, I don't think interceptors were designed to take on battlecruisers :S I'm trying to get a fit that can take on a big ship and not have a huge issue... so I'm trying to pick targets that cheap out with no drones and likely won't employ the use of a neut.

Edited by: Kessiaan on 09/06/2009 11:53:51 I've been using a virtually identical fit, though I can't squeeze on a rocket launcher since I use a T2 warp scram. Rockets are terrible anyway - ignore their EFT DPS, their real-world DPS is close enough to zero since the nerf I'd rather stick an offline remote rep in so I can overheat weapons that do actual damage for longer.
It dies horribly to neuts but is surprisingly resistant to warriors (if by resistant you mean shooting them). Lack of MWD isn't really an issue if you use it right - which is basically start every fight in scram range. Not as hard as it sounds.
I have an MWD Enyo as well and it dies a lot more often despite the fact that it pounds out more damage. If you get webbed and scrammed and don't have an AB you're in for some pain. I do like my MWD AFs but not short-range MWD AFs. |

Actually, this isn't necessarily a pure DPS fit, but it is the most logical balance of speed, damage, and tank for the Enyo that I've found. I've been using this fit or a fit very similar to this for nearly 9 months now. I like this fit, and the variations on it, quite a bit. |

60% structure is like 30% of your total hp left in a DCU-fit Taranis. Unless you weren't even scratching that Harpy, you bailed too early.

I had killed another target, the Harpy showed up while I was already in deep armor. I had to get out.

If I catch anyone fitting an MWD on an Enyo outside of Null, there will be severe consequences.
[Enyo, DPS/Tank Balance] 200mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Small Armor Repairer II Damage Control II N-Type Explosive Hardener I
1MN Afterburner II J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I
Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Plutonium Charge S Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Plutonium Charge S Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Plutonium Charge S Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Plutonium Charge S OE-5200 Rocket Launcher, Caldari Navy Phalanx Rocket
Hobgoblin II x1
Tanks Warriors Long enough to kill them, Lack of web means you really, really need Null and at least half-arsed skills to kill AFs you don't engage point blank. Going with Plutonium out of personal preference. It's complicated, so don't ask. |

To be able to cram all that stuff into the Enyo without any powergrid hardwiring, I need to switch the afterburner and armor repairer for the c-type kind :
[Enyo, no hardwirings] Coreli C-Type Reactive Plating Centii C-Type Small Armor Repairer Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Coreli C-Type 1MN Afterburner Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I
Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Gremlin Rocket Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S
Hybrid Burst Aerator I Hybrid Collision Accelerator I
Warrior II x1
The coreli c-type small armor repairer is more cap efficient but the centii kind repairs faster. I never understood why the Incursus have a 10% bonus on falloff and the T2 Enyo and Ishkurs have a crappy 10% bonus on optimal. -- Erik |

Never mind warriors. It'll get killed by rifters with barrage. Omni hardening is dumb when you have a gaping hole to patch.

That's because they are railboats. I like the 75mm rails + 400mm plate myself, with spike it can fend off a long range interceptor that will kill easily your blaster Enyos.... Slightly under 200dps otoh but a lot more ehp. -- 081014 : emoragequit, char transfered to a friend, 090317 : back to original owner blog |

It's impossible to dictate range against targets with an ab+web anyway so you shouldn't be flying a blaster enyo solo. At least with an mwd you can get into range and deal your dps quickly.
That's why you pick your targets, and engage big stuff, which the Enyo handles no Problemo. If it's faster than you, you steer clear of it, or bring friends. MWD In situations like that means you may as well fit no point, because a Slow Enyo is a dead Enyo.
