The Caldari Independent Navy Reserve is looking for new pilots
Who is CAIN?
The Caldari Independent Navy Reserve was established well over 4 years ago. While it was originally formed to assist members is running missions it has grown to be the premier Caldari combat corporation. We have participated in three Alliance PVP tournaments, once through a proxy alliance, and twice through an Alliance founded by us, The Fourth District. We are proud of our showings in the tournaments, placing into the finals.
What sets us aside from the other corporations is our long and very distinguished history. CAIN was founded as a RP corporation, but don't worry that doesn't mean we walk around in "robes and wizard hats" as mentioned by one of the Alliance PVP tournament commentators. We simply acknowledge that EVE does in fact have a story line, and that the avatars that we play are characters in the world of Eve, not a interface for people to play a fight sim. As an RP corporation we have participated in numerous game events through the now defunct Aurora program, and for you mission runners out there who have done the "Insorium Hijacking Mission" that mentions Caldari Paramilitaries, yes that was CAIN and I can most likely dig up the kill mail to prove it.
A lot has changed with the release of Factional Warfare, and CAIN has participated in a good part of it, ranking very high in the Caldari Militia statistics.
We are looking for numerous vacancies to expand our membership. We are also looking for any members of FW corporations, or other RP corporations that share our vision to come over to CAIN as a group - with leadership positions a possibility with the proper experience. Why stay in an ineffective 5 man corporation when you can be apart of something larger?
What does CAIN offer to members?
CAIN can offer something that most other corporations can't, and that's respect. We demand respect from our members, and it turn we give out respect. We are all equals, we all come from different backgrounds.
Through this we offer a helpful and teamwork based atmosphere. We don't have mandatory operations, we expect some level of participation, but to expect everyone to be part of everything is ridiculous. We offer a team environment for growth, and to gain experience.
We have tangible benefits as well, an internal and confidential killboard, voice communications server, Industrial and production capabilities, capital support, forums for discussion of ideas, and a wealth of knowledge from members who have been in game for several years.
What does CAIN want from members?
Our most precious asset has always been it's members. We are looking for outspoken, personally driven officers that can conduct themselves as adults (regardless of age), live up to the CAIN standard and be effective.
Activities are not limited (outside of piracy and theft), but we do subscribe to the theory that everyone is a soldier. We have people who enjoy mining, trading, missioning, exploring, producing, whatever your heart desires - but at the end of the day everyone fights. You don't need to be a PVP god, you just need to be willing to contribute to the whole, in whatever way you can.
We don't require a minimum of skill points, we do require that you show some level of competency through State standings (as we are a State corporation).
While we primarily look for Caldari citizens, our corporation charter does allow us to "hire" a percentage of non-caldari's to join. It's not a very high percentage, but we value any candidate who believes they can hold the line.
We are looking for all time zones, but especially US time zone players.

Currently we are involved in Factional Warfare, we have in the past been part of a 0.0 Alliance and all that's associated. We also get involved in a lot anti-pirate low security engagements and empire war declarations against griefer corporations. What we are looking for is people who are interested in PVP, can function in a mature environment and have an understanding of the backstory of the game. Age isn't an issue, attitude is.
Here is some information about our history, here to get a better understanding of us. It's not a complete history, but it's pretty accurate for the most part.

ok im actually very interested constant pvp and still able to mission XP.
ummm plyed for around 4 yrs this july 7th or so.
so i might be very interested and sry but how many are in corp?

I've been in CAIN for 3 years and 7 months running now. During this period I've seen us transform from a loose gang of empire dwelling missionrunners now and then ganging up for AURORA events to a cohesive and deadly military force focusing 95% on pure PVP.
It's a success story that began with major defeats, but what better to teach you than being smacked around for a bit?
Above everything else, what I love with this corporation is the people behind the characters. We have all kinds of people but with a heavy lean towards people with military background or in the military right now. Airforce, navy, army, AT... People with military backgrounds seem to like CAIN better than most. We also have a lot of students, a few professors etcetera. Not having checked it myself, I believe our average age lies closer to 30 than 25 as I believe I'm the second youngest in the corporation with my 23. The majority seems to be married with kids.
Short in short.. this is a corporation where you won't run into ranting 15 year olds whining about the fact that their mom wants them to clean the room. If you want a mature environment, this is the place to be. |

Recruitment is still open. We are still involved with Factional Warfare but are looking towards moving into the 0.0 arena again soon.
There has been a few questions about the different races, and our "racist" policies. We do allow non-caldari in the corporation, and it isn't racism, it is primarily for RP reasons we limit the numbers.
However - we still need mature and dedicated pilots in our ranks, so please stop by our channel or look at our website. It isn't often that we advertise for recruits so give us a look.
