If you hunt the experienced players, they're fully aware of the costs of a lost ship, so as long as you ransom them appropriately, you can make a lot of money - just make sure you pick the right targets.

There aren't too many real Anti-pirate corps, more like pure bounty hunter corps. Celest POC is one of the best. Most others still look to the blob technique. And I'm sorry but 25 vs 1, lmfao. 75 vs 12?? The worst part is that we still manage to knock out a few BS or more with horrible odds, even if we lose a couple ourself, its still a success.

I've always respected pirate corps for their lust for pvp, and i've always been the pirate hunter because i lust to hunt the hunters.
There are bands of corps that are "allied" in fighting the pirate menace, I've been part of a group of about 10 corps that try their best to keep the area we play in free of rats. And the rats have done the same, banding together to fight us back. It's beautiful to see such teamwork on both ends of the spectrum.
But Dirt Ball is right, those out to further their wallets are at a vaste dissadvantage because they have no joy in the acts of PVP, so they general suck at it and get waisted pretty quickly.
What I hope to see in the future are more Anti-Pirate Merc corps that will hire themselves out to fight for the carebears against the Pirates that threatin them. I'd imagine both would gain greaatly, the carebears wallets grow fatter and the anti-pirate merc corp gets paid to do what they love, pvp.

I agree with Dirtball.
I only pirate because of the social side. We have a corp rule, that if your online, you're on Teamspeak. Most of the time we're just goofing around, taking the mickey out of each other, and laughing at how people react to getting ganked/ransomed/robbed (It's very interesting to see that stuff) It's all about the team work. Theres nothing better than the stiffy you get after a nice battle, or the hauler full of Zydrine.
It's all a big happy occasion for us, and we enjoy playing together as a team. Screaming around EvE in a gang of 8 Frigs/Ceptors, trying our luck against Bships, and whatever else pops up.
Yeh, i feel bad for robbing people, it's only natural. Dosent stop it being uber fun ;)

When I originally wrote this topic I was new to PVP. But one thing that I still say is that pirates use teamwork, and work together. Some corps due the same I am sure, but how often do you see one or two pirates on there own. Almost never. I am now in a new corp, and we work together as a team for the most part. Sharkz when I wrote this message you didn't even exist, you where still Elite Vikings I think. But we have had many good fights, you have won some, we have won some. But as an Anti-Pirate there is one thing Pirates forget, they feel if they run and don't lose any ships its not a victory for us. Well as Anti-Pirates that is a victory. We got you off of a gate we didnt' want you on. Yes it is nice to kill one or two of you off, but if we scared you away it all works out the same.

hehe well.. the fight you are talking about.. should be a gank on your side.. you overpowrered us on the ratio 3 vs 1.. but WTF? we took down 7 of .. there 5 lvl 2 bs's and 2 lvl 1 bs's .. well.. you took down 2 lvl 1 from us.
i think that is a victory for us :)
well.. still .. maybe that thing there came because you didnt work as a team but we did :/ and btw.. we aint pirates.. were random killers :Ì
