If possible I would love to see the 1st name of the people in the Corp's channel.
Maybe have an entry in the Bio:
"Enter here your 1st name to show in the Corp channel: ________ "
Which can then be shown bellow there character/Toon's name in the corp chat.

why bother? If you really want to share your name over the internet, you hardly need an in game mechanic for it. Just say: "Hello, my name is ___" and be done with it. |

I think he means a display name as opposed to a formal name.
For example when you use chat program such as yahoo messenger, or MSN Messenger.
Each allows you to have a set display name.
Which can be convenient if you have an long, odd or difficult to read formal name.

LOL, welcome to EVE! Two ways to go about this... in the corporation, you can assign yourselves titles with your real names. Or put them in your bio :)
