problem:....eve plays well for about 2 - 20 mins then crashes, especially in space stations when using the market menus...etc....game crashes and screen becomes a massive mess of lines as though eve were trying to render the correct graphics but cant somehow........
setup:Ok I know this isnt exactly state of the art but should run PIII 1.0Ghz processor 512 Mb memory Nvidia Gforce2 Go 32Mb onboard memory(used all driver sets, newest dont work 53.03 the only ones that seem to work worth anything) 9c drivers windows xp sp1
system temp doesnt seem to be an issue and the power supply seems to be fine as well.....anyone ?

I've got the exact same hardware, but I don't have any problems at all.
This is of course no help to you, but just wanted to let you know the GeForce 2 Go card isn't your problem.
Regards,
/ShadowBringer.

Well i put it on the laptop this weekend - apart from running VERY slowly, it seemed to be stable over the course of 30 mins or so. I will do a longer test for you during the week and let you know the results.
As a side note, i do have a seperate bit of software that monitors internal temps as those GeForce 2 cards get pretty hot inside the laptop - it will run at around 55-60c if i dont have the seperate software running to keep it nice and cool, so that might be something to look into. I cant remember the exact name, but its something like Speedfan (again, i will take a look when im at home and post up here for you).
