I am the ceo of my own corp, its gives me some benefits on being solo rather then joining an npc corp. Now I want to sign, my 1 man corp, up for the minmatar militia. On the sign up page it sais, enlist my corp. I do that, but it sais my corp needs .5 minmatar standing. I have a personal of atleast 2, which seems enough, but my corp aint taking it over. Though I have been in this corp for over a week now, I did a mission yesterday evening for a lvl 1 agent, thinking it would trigger a standing update with the minmatar, but nothing changed after downtime.
How do I get my corp to update to the required standing, in the fastest way possible? |

Do you have +0.5 to minmatar without any skills being applied?

Yeah, the effects of the skill Connections don't apply to Militia prerequisites; you need 0.5 BASE standings to qualify.

That goes both for corp and personal militia joins - they're on base standings only

Perhaps it takes a while for a new corp to update its standings ? I know that when a player joins it takes a week for his standings to have impact on the corp standings. --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Clear Skies - The Movie |

I have a base standing of .6 . Maybe the delay with a week would explain why it hasn't changed yet. Its a weird game mechanic though!

Edited by: Ambrosse Brutus on 13/06/2009 20:10:44 Louis deGuerre is correct, CCP intentionally do not allow a newly joined players or a player on a trial account to affect corp standings. As you only just joined the corp as you recently created it yourself I am guessing it does not take your standings into account until you have been in the corp for at least one week.

in my experience the only way to get corp standings towards a faction is to do a storyline mission. ive had the same problem as you twice and both times i had to do storyline missions to get it to work
