It has just been revealed that "Unique & Exclusive Guide/Secret to becoming 5-7 billion ISK Richer in Eve Easily!" which Tank CEO is using to lure new players to get buddy invite from him is nothing more than datacore farming.
According to Profitability of R&D Agents, best R&D agents currently can profit 20 mil ISK per month with max skills. If you use 6 such agents with 3 characters, you would make 360 mil ISK/month, giving you promise 5-7 billion in 13-19 months if nothing changes.
On first look that might seem like nice income, but the shear amount of work required to get to that point, combined with the fact that you would need to switch agents whenever one isn't profitable anymore, means that it is not worth it.

No need to switch; considering data-core prices are cyclical (as everyone is chasing the highest profit) all you need to do is wait until whatever datacore you're on is up again. For datacores, it doesn't matter much what you sell, but when you sell. |
