As always a big thank you to those of you who have donated. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us to pay our fine writers.

"Right, now that IÆve offended at least .0001% of EVE players"
And 100% of people who can read.
Does Eve Tribune not have any editors? Cause the writing style of that article got in the way of the content. Too much verbiage. Not sticking to the point. A lack of respect for the readers. I gave up on it and could not tell you what the author was trying to say.

Edited by: Cat o''Ninetails on 17/06/2009 01:58:01 Hi, Cat here
This issue seems mainly depressing tbh.
The paragraphs of concern in the headline article. The ambulation article which mainly addresses how disappointed the author is so far. The logistics article is interesting, in a way, but there's nothing fun or creative explained in that piece. I generally like the spaceship descriptions and I'll just take the good with the bad here. :)

Funny story, actually.
The first batch of editors? Well, the first batch of editors got dropped on an island armed with rifles and sharp sticks. They starved to death or went crazy. Second batch of editors were vat-grown, and developed some sort of Hive Mind with their general clone gestalt. They killed 47 of their handlers and then escaped into the night. Their location is, as of yet, unknown. Third batch were opium fiends and women of ill repute, and they all died of syphilis.
After that, we just started contracting out for entire acres of the forest to systematically cleansed of monkeys and apes. Said primates are then flown, unconscious, to Tribune Labs, at which point they are let out beaten and insulted until they consent to edit on a weekly schedule. Then when they upset us, we kill them and order new monkeys and apes to be flown in, and beaten.

Dear Sir:
We at Tribune Labs take such allegations with all due sincerity and attention. That is why we launched a full investigation, and found that several staff-chimps were, in fact, showing a lack of respect for the readership. We have taken the appropriate actions, and we have selected a chimp to die. Her name is Susan. We are going to execute her, in order to frighten the staff and teach them to fear the Wrath of God. Also, they should learn not to disrespect the readership ever again.
We hope that Susan's death satisfies you... Mr. Banana ------------------------------------------------ Hohohoho, Mister Finn, youÆre going to be Mister Finnagain! Comeday morm and, O, youÆre vine! SenddayÆs eve and, ah, youÆre vinegar! Hahahaha, Mister |

What's really weird is that we actually have a room with an infinite numbers of chimps and typewriters.

I can attest to that. I once tried counting the chimps and gave up after 37. I'm pretty sure that there was an infinite bunch of them, though. ------------------------------------------------ Hohohoho, Mister Finn, youÆre going to be Mister Finnagain!
