Why Rubicon? Some river in Italy is hardly inspiring. Tales of a self-promoting old git that got what was coming to him in the end not so much either.
What are the confirmed features of this expansion? |

Last expansion Apocrypha
next could be Eve Online: Catechism
And redo all the effects and sounds :)

Yes it has. Its TOTALHELLDEATH comon keep up.
Oveur wants that every single time, and he has supporters, but it never seems to quite get approved unfortunately. One day though, one day!
That would require a patch/expansion that boosts pvp though...

I'd be more interested in the next expansion if it were called something like "Shadow War" and had the Sleepers conducting raids into Empire space.
I know, I know. The AI necessary for it would very likely be tricky and complex to implement. Nothing to say such an idea couldn't start with the occassional rare spawns in belts or one or two missions that have an extremely rare spawn of sleepers.
Just saying... and yes, a little muddy creek in Italy does not inspire much enthusiasm.

Indeed, with humanity conducting hourly raids into the sleepers areas I'm sure the little buggers have been steadily adapting themselves to this new threat and have started sending scouts through the wormholes. Once on the other side they see this huge sprawling mass of beings and things that are not them blotting out the very background radiation signature of the cosmos. So much variety and wonder and chaos, and threat.
The vast sleeper ai net came to one immediate and unanimous conclusion: It had to go.

I love how everyone jumps on the "Expansion X is Bad" because it has nothing in it for them.
Though, Eve throws around the word "expansion" a bit heavily; Eve's expansions (Apocrypha notwithstanding) are usually the equivalent to another games "content patches." Hence why we get 2 a year and all for free i guess. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

I thought that was Apocrypha, and the industry ship was the Orca?
I for one found the orca to be extremely disappointing and about 90% worthless. the cargo capacity is okay, the mining bonuses are ok, but the ship bay just blows, and only having 3 highslots, with command and tractor bonuses.

Rumor has it the next expansion will be called " Redemption ". It will be all about buffing Minmatar and nerfing Titans doomsday and making titans a ship carrier. A moveable station with bridging capability. That would be awesome :) |

No, no, it's gonna be "Eve Online - Redemption". Eve Online - Redemption? sounds to needy... like eve needs to do a few hail maries or something... if its all about pvp and having legs... i would call it Eve Online: resurrection... it has more of a RP thing to it with going with the whole religious aspect of the game and sounds cooler
edit: its name would suggest that eve has been reborn! with legs and kick ass pvp...
