I think I remember you, did you play on Werner? Or maybe it was from the forums. I never played on any other server.
I had a few characters Soulflay (TR werner) was my main.
I stopped playing a few months after they raised the BR cap to 25, I think I was one of the first in TR werner to get the BR25 Black (after nearly 24 hours of solid mossie and Minigile whoring). For a few short weeks before I quit, I burned brightly, consistently getting in the top 10 kills in the server. Although I never did make it to CR5 I got to 3 I think. Then I got a time intensive job and never had enough time to enjoy a long session. That must have been about 2006, so long ago. Also the game has started to age and the populations began to drop (and sony still put up the price to play).
I remember fighting the Mercenaries, those guys where good, although greatly helped by the terrible balance issues inherent in the game. KornDemon remember him? I also remember the hilarious antics of Action Jackson and fort4law on the forums. A few TR CR5 I remember are Ostekake, Infra, Overlordscoming and Carpetbelly but few other names stick. Good times.
Looking forward to reliving them in Dust 514 and adding more :D

I loved the hell out of Planetside, but I think in all the places where PS couldn't keep me, Dust will excel.
Consequences to death is one (besides long respawn timers), having an impact on a bigger world (than just some random-ass continent map. I mean, the map is cool to see progress from your collective efforts, but at the end of the day is just a larger scale version of Battlefield and just as meaningless to a "bigger picture"), and multiple servers (screw that noise.)

i still play in PS but as you peeps i wait dust514 , as i will prolly play ps2 to try but dust514 will get what ps 1 was missing and ps2 will miss too
No more ppl afk in tubes, abandonning vehicls everywhere etc etc ^^ |

FreedomShot here, NC Werner. Looking forward to both. I think PS2 will have the better FPS game to it but Dust will have the wonderfully deep Eve universe as well so will overall be the deeper game.
Funny thing is I used to play both Eve and PS1 and imagine the two games being linked. That would have neeb so good but with Dust and Eve perhaps this is now a dream come true. |

I loved the hell out of PS.... and I'm hoping dust will be as alluring! While I own and occassionally play FPS on my PS3, I find non-computer based FPS typically less appealing than console games... we'll see how it goes!

still playing, daily decent fight around 100 players during week days, and 200+ for week-end but haven't seen any continental lock for months
