...to my knowledge, currently goes like this (please correct me if I am wrong) :
I will use 1000 isk/hour as an hourly rate just as a number for this example, insert whatever the actual numbers are if you like.
1.0: 1000 isk/hour 0.9: 1500 isk/hour 0.8: 2000 isk/hour 0.7: 2500 isk/hour 0.6: 3500 isk/hour 0.5: 4500 isk/hour
and then
0.4: 5500 isk/hour, or 6k, whatever, I hope you get the idea here.
The jump from highsec to lowsec simply is not worth it. The hourly rate for missioning / mining / whatever job you have in high sec apparently continues to scale as above.
It looks to me like the next best thing isk-wise after 0.0 plexes, ratting, moon mining etc is highsec missions. Why the hell would someone risk living in lowsec just for that piddly extra amount?
I mean it seems obvious to me ??? Make certain ores only available in lowsec, or make the roids there yield triple what highsec roids do. Make the mission payouts triple. Something. ANYTHING!!! lol, it just seems so blatantly obvious to me, and yet there are new posts every day, with ideas on making ppl want to move to lowsec.
Why would someone risk what they make in an entire week, just to make their isk 1% faster over the next week?
Current incentive is a joke, and so is the pay scale. Fix this and ppl will be moving out there in droves, trust me.
I have been in a noob corp long enough to know that ppl are more than willing to dip their toe in the pool. Give them a reason to jump right in |

Can't wait for level 4's to be nerfed and all the loser, worthless mission grinding subscribers to leave the game crew checking in.

I know the exact figures are hard to produce, but you could have atleast put in a little effort.

Why should people go to low sec?
If they want more isk than they can earn in high-sec they just go to wormhole space. Wormhole space is ten times more lucrative as low sec and the risk is really only a little more in wormholes.
If they want some pvp they go to 0.0 because you have more options there (bubbles, bombers etc) and no security standing problems.
So ... why going to low sec?
Certainly because of isk and certainly not because of pvp. |
